What Happens to My Open and Pending Orders When I Freeze My Account?

Orders that were already open or pending before you froze your account are not cancelled and not paused — they stay live and can still execute while the account is frozen. Freezing blocks you from placing new buy or sell orders and from setting up new Auto Invest, but it does not reach backwards to unwind instructions you had already submitted. This is an important distinction if you are freezing because you suspect unauthorised access: any order placed before the freeze, including one placed by someone else who had access, remains in the market. If you want those orders stopped, you need to cancel them yourself before you freeze, or unfreeze the account and cancel them afterwards. Money-out stays blocked throughout, so any proceeds cannot leave your account.

What freezing does and does not do to orders:

Effect of freezing
New buy or sell ordersBlocked — you cannot place them while frozen
New Auto Invest setupBlocked — you cannot create one while frozen
Orders already open or pendingNot cancelled, not paused — they stay live and can execute

If you are freezing because you suspect unauthorised access, check your open and pending orders first if you still can, and cancel anything you do not recognise before you confirm the freeze. Once the account is frozen you are logged out entirely and cannot reach the order list until you unfreeze.

Note that money-out is still blocked. Even if an order executes while you are frozen, the proceeds cannot leave your account: cashout and Crypto Send are blocked while frozen, and cashout and Crypto Send stay blocked for a further 24 hours after you unfreeze.

Related questions:

Q: Should I cancel my open orders before freezing?
If you are freezing because you suspect someone else has access, yes — cancel anything you do not recognise first, because you will not be able to reach the order list once the account is locked. If you are freezing for another reason and are happy for your existing orders to run, there is no need to cancel them. Freezing itself does not depend on clearing your orders first.

Q: Can a thief's order still execute after I freeze my account?
Yes, if it was placed before the freeze. Freezing does not cancel orders that were already submitted, so an order placed by someone with access can still fill. The protection is that the proceeds cannot be withdrawn — all money-out routes are blocked while frozen and cashout stays blocked for 24 hours after unfreezing. Report anything you did not place to Pluang Care.

Q: Does my existing Auto Invest keep running while frozen?
Freezing blocks you from setting up new Auto Invest. For an Auto Invest instruction that was already active before the freeze, contact Pluang Care to confirm its status for your specific account, since this depends on how the instruction was scheduled. The same applies to any other recurring instruction you had running before you froze the account.

Q: Can I cancel an order while my account is frozen?
No. Logging in on a frozen account takes you to identity verification, not to your order list, so you cannot view or cancel anything until you unfreeze. You need to unfreeze first by passing Face Match and Liveness Check in the app, after which the order list is available again and you can cancel normally. This is why checking your orders before you freeze is worth the extra minute.
