Why Hasn't My Limit Close Order Executed Yet on Crypto Futures?

Your Limit Close order stays open and unfilled until the market actually trades at your specified price or better — this is normal, expected behavior for a Limit order, not an error, and the order remains valid for up to 90 days or until it fills or you cancel it. This is different from a Limit TP/SL order, which only activates after its own separate trigger price is reached first.

Symptom / ConditionPossible CauseSolution
Order shows "Pending" or "Open" in Transaction HistoryThe market hasn't reached your specified Limit Price yetWait — the order stays open (up to 90 days) and can still fill if the price reaches your level, or cancel it and place a Market Close instead for immediate execution
You're not sure whether any of it has executedThe order's detail page tells you directlyOpen the order from Transaction History and check its Filled amount and percentage — 0% means nothing has executed yet, while a part-filled order has already closed that portion of your position
Price has reached your Limit Price but the order still hasn't filledThere may not have been enough matching liquidity at that exact price for your full quantity at that momentCheck whether the order partially filled, or wait for the price to revisit your level with sufficient liquidity
You're confusing this with a Limit TP/SL order that hasn't triggeredA Limit Close and a Limit TP/SL are different order types — a Limit TP/SL only becomes active once its own trigger price is hit firstCheck which order type you actually placed in Open Orders or Transaction History
Order disappeared without fillingIt may have been auto-adjusted and replaced, cancelled by the latest-intent rule, or cancelled because the position fully closedCheck Transaction History for a cancellation event and its cause before assuming it should have filled

Related questions:

Q: How long does a Limit Close order stay open if it doesn't fill?
Up to 90 days, or until it fills or you cancel it — the same validity period as other Limit orders on Pluang Crypto Futures.

Q: Is a Limit Close order guaranteed to fill once the market reaches my price?
Not always instantly — it fills based on available matching liquidity at that price, so a fast-moving market can sometimes pass through your price without fully filling your order.

Q: What's the difference between a Limit Close not executing and a Limit TP/SL not executing?
A Limit Close is an order you placed directly to exit part or all of your position at a chosen price; a Limit TP/SL only starts working after its own separate trigger price is reached — check which order type you actually have if you're unsure why it hasn't executed.

Q: Can I switch my unfilled Limit Close to a Market Close instead?
Yes — cancel the pending Limit Close and place a new Market Close if you want immediate execution at the current best available price instead of waiting.
