Related questions:
Q: Does the Tax Report show the assets I still held at the end of the year?
Yes. Every Tax Report reflects your holdings as of the end of the selected year, which is why a year's report only becomes available after 31 December.
Q: Why does the report show tax for crypto but profit or loss for US stocks, mutual funds and gold?
For crypto, tax is collected on each transaction, so the report totals what was collected. For US stocks, mutual funds and gold, the figure you need for your SPT Tahunan is your realised profit or loss.
Q: Which period does the report cover?
One full calendar year, from 1 January to 31 December. You can download the report for any past year, but not for the current year until it has ended.
Q: Does Pluang send these figures to the tax office?
No. Pluang does not report users' net profit information to the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP). Reporting these figures in your SPT Tahunan is your own responsibility.
