Why can't I exercise my rights or warrants on Pluang?
The most common reason is insufficient RDN balance — exercising requires the full exercise price × lots × 100 shares/lot to already be in your RDN, or the request is rejected. Other causes include submitting outside the allowed trading session, or the exercise period having already ended.
| Symptom / Condition | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Exercise request is rejected immediately after you tap confirm | Insufficient RDN balance to cover the exercise cost | Top up your RDN, then resubmit while the exercise period is open |
| Nothing happens when you try to submit rights exercise outside the TN market's rights session hours (09:00–12:00 WIB Mon–Thu, 09:00–11:30 WIB Fri) | Rights only exercise in Session 1 — it queues instead of failing | Wait for the next Session 1, or resubmit during that window |
| The Exercise option is no longer available | The exercise period has already ended | None — the right/warrant has expired worthless |
| You get an error entering a lot amount | You entered more lots than your Available Lot | Reduce the amount to at or below your Available Lot |
If the issue persists:
Contact Pluang Care via live chat in the app or email tanya@pluang.com with the ticker, the exercise amount, and a screenshot of the error.
Related questions:
Q: Is a rejected exercise attempt counted against my Available Lot?
No. A rejected attempt doesn't reduce your Available Lot.
Q: Can I exercise a warrant outside Session 1?
Yes. Warrant exercise processes in both trading sessions.
Q: Does topping up my RDN guarantee my exercise will succeed?
It resolves the funds block, but you still need the correct session and an open exercise period.
Q: Why does the app say my exercise is queued instead of confirmed?
You likely submitted outside the allowed session — it's processed automatically at the next valid session.
