Why Did My Indonesian Stock e-IPO Order Fail or Get Cancelled on Pluang?
An Indonesian stock e-IPO order on Pluang usually fails because the final IPO price was higher than your book price, because the order wasn't confirmed before the Offering period ended, because you already had another order for the same IPO, or because you weren't allotted any shares. In each case, the amount held for the order is returned to your RDN, and nothing is debited. Find the message or status you see in the table below.
| What you see | Why it happened | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Your book price didn't match the IPO price | The final IPO price was higher than your book price | Place a new order at the final IPO price before the Offering period ends, if you still want shares |
| Your order wasn't confirmed before the offering ended | A Book Building order needs your confirmation during Offering, and it wasn't confirmed in time | Nothing; the held amount is released. You can buy the stock after it lists on IDX |
| Another order under your name was found | You already had an order for this IPO in the IDX e-IPO system, for example one placed through the e-IPO website | Keep a single order for each IPO. If you didn't place the other order, contact Pluang Care |
| You weren't allotted any shares | The IPO was oversubscribed and your order wasn't allotted | Nothing; the full held amount goes back to your RDN after Allotment |
| Allotted with scale back | The IPO was oversubscribed, so you got fewer lots than you ordered | Nothing; the amount for the lots you didn't get goes back to your RDN after Allotment |
| You cancelled the order | You cancelled it during Book Building | Place a new order until the Offering period ends, if you still want shares |
| The app asks you to top up your RDN | The money you can withdraw from your RDN doesn't cover the order. Proceeds from a stock sale count only once they settle (T+2) | Top up your RDN, then place a new order while ordering is still open |
| The e-IPO is postponed | The company has postponed its IPO | Follow the IPO's page for new dates and your order's status |
If the issue persists:

Q: When do I get my money back after a failed e-IPO order?
When an order doesn't go through or is cancelled, the held amount is released to your RDN buying power. If you weren't allotted shares, or got fewer lots, the amount for the lots you didn't get goes back after Allotment. If it isn't back after the Distribution date, contact Pluang Care.
Q: Can I order again after my e-IPO order failed?
Yes, while ordering is still open. During Book Building or Offering, you can place a new order for the same IPO once the failed one is closed. After the Offering period ends, you can buy the stock only once it lists on IDX, at the market price.
Q: Where can I see what happened to my e-IPO order?
Open the IPO on the e-IPO page in the Pluang app. Your order appears there with its latest status and a short explanation, and the status bar shows which stage the IPO is in.
Q: Does a failed e-IPO order affect my future IPO orders?
A failed or unallotted order doesn't stop you from ordering in future IPOs on Pluang. Each IPO is a separate order, with its own price range, dates and allotment.
