What is my Pluang RDN bank, and can I choose Bank Jago or BCA?

Your Pluang RDN bank is either Bank Jago or BCA, Pluang's two RDN partner banks, and you choose between them during Indonesian Asset Verification. The app only shows the options available to you: if your occupation is student, university student or homemaker, Bank Jago is the only option, and at times the app may offer just one of the two banks to other users too. With Bank Jago, you verify your existing Jago account or, if you don't have one, agree to the terms for opening the RDN. With BCA, you need a BCA account in your own name and a signature that matches your e-KTP. Each Pluang account holds one RDN, and you can't switch its bank yourself in the app once it's open. The choice matters later: as of October 2026, idle cash in a Bank Jago RDN earns 2% a year while a BCA RDN earns 0%, and cashing out to the same bank as your RDN is free.

Related questions:

Q: Can I change my RDN from Bank Jago to BCA, or from BCA to Bank Jago?
As of October 2026, not by yourself in the app. Once your RDN is open, its bank stays as it was set up, and each Pluang account holds one RDN. If you want to move to the other partner bank, contact Pluang Care through in-app live chat or email tanya@pluang.com, and the team will explain the current process. It's worth choosing carefully during verification, because the bank sets your interest on idle cash and which cash-outs are free.

Q: Why can I only see Bank Jago when I open my RDN?
If your registered occupation is student, university student or homemaker, Bank Jago is the only RDN option shown, because the BCA route isn't offered for those occupations. At times the app may also show a single bank to other users, so the options on the RDN selection page are the ones available to you right now. You don't need a Bank Jago account beforehand: if you don't have one, you agree to the RDN opening terms as part of the flow.

Q: Do I need a BCA account to open a BCA RDN?
Yes. A BCA RDN is linked to a BCA account in your own name, so you enter that account number during Indonesian Asset Verification and sign exactly as on your e-KTP. The name on the BCA account must match the name on your Pluang account. If BCA can't open the RDN with your data, for example because your details at BCA need updating, the app may offer Bank Jago so your application can continue.

Q: Is a Bank Jago RDN as safe as a BCA RDN?
Yes. Both are RDNs registered in your own name and held separately from Pluang's own funds, and the cash in each is protected by LPS up to Rp2,000,000,000 per customer per bank. Your stocks are held at KSEI whichever bank you choose. The differences between the two banks are practical, such as interest on idle cash, which cash-outs are free, and Bank Jago's daily cap on cash-outs to another bank, not the level of protection.
