Where Can I Check the Pluang Gold Price Today?
You can check the Pluang gold price today on the Gold asset page in the app: open Search, tap Gold, and the price shown at the top is the mid price (harga tengah) per gram. The mid price is a reference that sits between the buy price and the sell price, so it is not the exact price you pay or receive. The price that applies to your transaction is shown on the review screen before you swipe to confirm: the buy price when you buy, or the sell price when you sell, together with any fee and tax. The gold price moves with the global gold price and the Rupiah exchange rate and changes from time to time, so the figure can differ from one visit to the next. The same page also shows your holding under "Your Position" and three market indicators: 3M Drawdown, Trading Activity and Typical Hold Time.
Which price is which
| Price | What it is | Where you see it |
|---|---|---|
| Mid price (harga tengah) | A reference between the buy and sell price, also used to value your holding | Top of the Gold asset page and the buy screen |
| Buy price | The price per gram you pay when you buy | The review screen, before you confirm a purchase |
| Sell price | The price per gram you receive when you sell | The review screen, before you confirm a sale |
Other indicators on the Gold asset page
| Indicator | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| 3M Drawdown | How far the gold price fell from its peak to its lowest point within the timeframe shown |
| Trading Activity | The percentage of Pluang users who increased or reduced their gold position through trades in the last 24 hours; more buying suggests stronger interest |
| Typical Hold Time | The median time Pluang users held gold before selling; a long hold time suggests accumulation, a short one suggests money moving to other assets |
Two worked examples from "Your Position" (illustrative figures, not current prices)
- Estimated profit: average buy price Rp950,000 per gram, mid price today Rp980,000 per gram, 10 grams held. (Rp980,000 − Rp950,000) × 10 = Rp300,000.
- Today's change: yesterday's closing price Rp970,000 per gram, today's mid price Rp980,000 per gram, 5 grams held. (Rp980,000 − Rp970,000) × 5 = Rp50,000.
Every field in "Your Position" (Amount, Value, Average buy price, Estimated profit and Today's change) is explained in the article "How do I read my gold position on Pluang?". To buy at the current price, see the guide "How to buy gold on Pluang".
Related questions:
Q: Is the price on the Gold page the price I pay?
No. The price at the top of the Gold asset page is the mid price, a reference between the buy price and the sell price. When you buy, you pay the buy price, which is higher than the mid price, plus a 0.15% third-party fee and 11% VAT on that fee. The exact buy price, fee and tax appear on the review screen after you enter an amount and tap "Review Purchase", before you swipe to confirm.
Q: How can I see the Pluang gold sell price?
Open the Gold asset page (Search → Gold), tap Sell and enter the amount in Rupiah or grams. The review screen then shows the sell price and what you will receive before you swipe to confirm. Gold sales carry no third-party fee, and the proceeds go to your Rupiah balance in the app once the sale is complete. The sell price is lower than the buy price because of the spread, which is built into both prices.
Q: Why is the gold price different from when I last checked?
The Pluang gold price moves with the global gold price and the Rupiah exchange rate, so it changes from time to time. Besides the price set by PT Pluang Emas Sejahtera, Pluang refers to the ANTAM price and the global XAU/USD spot price. A price you saw earlier is only a guide: the price that applies to your transaction is the one on the review screen at the moment you confirm.
Q: What do 3M Drawdown, Trading Activity and Typical Hold Time mean for me?
They are market indicators, not recommendations. 3M Drawdown shows how far the gold price fell from its peak within the timeframe shown. Trading Activity shows the share of Pluang users who added to or reduced their gold in the last 24 hours. Typical Hold Time is the median time users held gold before selling. Use them for context alongside your own goals, since past movements do not predict future prices.
