What Is the Pluang Gold Sell Price, and What Is the Minimum Sale?

The Pluang gold sell price is the price you receive when you sell, shown as "Selling Price" on the gold asset page in the app, and you can sell from as little as Rp5,000. You can enter the amount in Rupiah or in grams, and sell part of your balance or all of it. Gold sales carry no third-party fee, so no percentage fee is deducted from what you receive. The sell price is always lower than the buy price: the difference is the spread, which is built into both prices. Once the sale is complete, the proceeds go to your Rupiah balance in the app, and the sale appears in "Transaction History". Because the gold price keeps moving, the sell price that applies is the one on the review screen when you swipe up to confirm, not one you saw earlier.

Sell price vs buy price. At any moment the sell price is below the buy price. Pluang uses a floating spread, so the gap changes from time to time; the article “How much is the Pluang gold spread?” (GOLD-PROD-G-003) explains it. The figure at the top of the buy screen is the mid price, which sits between the two.

How to sell. Open Search → Gold → Sell, enter the amount, review the order, then swipe up. The guide “How to sell gold on Pluang” (GOLD-TXN-HT-002) shows every step.

Related questions:

Q: Can I sell only part of my gold?
Yes. You can sell any part of your balance as long as the sale is worth at least Rp5,000 at the current sell price, and the rest stays in your balance in grams. You can enter the amount either in Rupiah or in grams. Gold you are still paying for through Cicilan Emas is not in your balance until the instalment is Completed, so it cannot be sold before then; only the gold already in your balance can be sold.

Q: Is there a fee when I sell gold?
No third-party fee is charged on gold sales; the 0.15% third-party fee and the 11% VAT on it apply to purchases only. The cost of selling is built into the price itself: you sell at the sell price, which is lower than the buy price because of the spread. The review screen shows the sell price and the amount you will receive before you swipe up, so you can check everything before anything is sold.

Q: When does the money from my gold sale arrive?
The proceeds go to your Rupiah balance in the Pluang app once the sale is complete, and you can check the status of the sale in "Transaction History". From your Rupiah balance you can use the money for another investment in the app or withdraw it to your bank account under the usual withdrawal rules. If the sale shows as complete but the money is not in your balance, contact Pluang Care through live chat in the app with the transaction details.

Q: Why is the sell price lower than the price I bought at?
For two reasons. First, at any moment the sell price is below the buy price; that gap is the spread, which is built into both prices. Second, the gold price itself moves with the global gold price and the Rupiah, so today's sell price may be higher or lower than the buy price you paid earlier. A sale ends in a gain only when the sell price has risen above what you paid, including the purchase fee.
