What Are the Terms of a Pluang Gold Instalment (Cicilan Emas)?
A Pluang gold instalment (Cicilan Emas) lets you buy gold from 0.5 gram and pay for it in flat monthly instalments over 3 to 36 months, with the price locked at the buy price when you create the plan. You pay an 8% down payment, and your first payment is the down payment plus the first instalment. After that, each instalment is auto-debited from your Rupiah balance on the 25th of the month, so keep enough balance there before the due date. Interest applies and depends on the tenor; it is already included in the simulation the app shows before you confirm, so the total, the first payment and the monthly amount you see include it. There is no admin fee and no late fee, but if 2 consecutive instalments go unpaid, the plan is cancelled automatically. The gold is added to your gold balance and portfolio only when the instalment status is Completed.

Where to find it. Open the Gold asset page, tap your gold balance (vault) icon, then tap Installment. The menu lists every instalment you have, and you can run more than one at the same time. For the full setup, see the guide “How to Buy Gold on Instalment (Cicilan Emas) on Pluang”.
Cancelling has a cost. If you cancel, a 10% cancellation penalty applies and the down payment is forfeited; whatever remains of what you paid goes back to your Rupiah balance. The confirmation screen shows the exact amounts before you confirm, and a processed cancellation cannot be reversed.
Related questions:
Q: Is there interest on Pluang gold instalments?
Yes. The earlier 0% interest promotion has ended, so interest now applies to new instalments. The rate depends on the tenor you choose, and it is already built into the simulation the app shows before you confirm: the total, the first payment and the flat monthly amount all include it. An instalment you created earlier keeps the terms it was created with. If your app still shows 0% interest, update it to the latest version.
Q: What happens if I miss a gold instalment payment?
There is no late fee. Each instalment is auto-debited from your Rupiah balance on the 25th, and if the balance is short, that month's instalment stays unpaid. One missed payment does not end the plan, but if 2 consecutive instalments go unpaid the system cancels it automatically, and the cancellation terms apply: a 10% penalty and a forfeited down payment. Topping up your Rupiah balance before the 25th of each month avoids this.
Q: Can I have more than one gold instalment at the same time?
Yes. You can create a new gold instalment while another one is still running, and each has its own gold amount, tenor, locked price and monthly schedule. All of them are auto-debited from the same Rupiah balance on the 25th, so make sure the balance covers the combined monthly amount of every instalment you have. You can see them all in the Installment menu on the Gold asset page.
Q: Can I pay off a gold instalment early?
Not in full. There is no option to settle the whole instalment before the tenor ends, so the plan runs for the number of months you chose. What you can do is pay the current month's bill early, from the 1st of the month at 07:00 WIB, through View Schedule and then Pay Now in the Installment menu, instead of waiting for the auto-debit on the 25th.
