Why Isn't the Actual Figure Showing Yet on Event Calendar?
The most common reason is that the figure hasn't been published yet: when an event shows the Due now label, its scheduled time has passed but the official number isn't out. Once it is released, it reaches Pluang within minutes and appears on the next refresh, so pull down to refresh the Calendar page or close and reopen it. Event Calendar refreshes after a few minutes rather than streaming live, and corporate actions have no Actual figure, only dates.
| Symptom / Condition | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| The event shows Due now | Its scheduled time has passed, but the actual figure hasn't been published yet | Wait a few minutes, then pull down to refresh. Once the figure is out, the detail sheet shows the Actual with its unit and whether it beat or missed the forecast. |
| Other sources already show the figure, but Event Calendar doesn't | The page hasn't refreshed since the figure was released | Pull down to refresh the Calendar page, or close and reopen it. Data refreshes when you open the page, when you pull down and after a few minutes; there's no live streaming. |
| Due now stays on for longer than usual | The release has been delayed by its source, such as a statistics agency, a central bank or the company | Check back later. The Actual appears once the source publishes it. Event Calendar can't show a figure before its source releases it. |
| The Forecast shows a dash (–) | No forecast is available for this event | Nothing is wrong. A dash means no forecast is available; it never means zero. The Actual still appears after the release. |
| An earnings event has no actual EPS | The company hasn't reported its results yet | The actual EPS appears after the company reports. The detail sheet shows the expected EPS where available and the report session, such as before market open or after market close. |
| A corporate action has no Actual at all | Corporate actions don't have an Actual figure; they have dates instead | Open the event to see its timeline, such as the cum, ex, record and payment or distribution dates, plus details like the dividend amount or split ratio. |

Related questions:
Q: What does Due now mean on Event Calendar?
It means the event's scheduled time has passed but the actual figure hasn't been published yet. It isn't an error. Once the figure is released and the page refreshes, the Actual appears in the event's details.
Q: How can I see whether a figure beat the forecast?
Open Explore, choose Discover, then the Calendar tab, and tap the event to open its detail sheet. After the release, the Actual is shown with its unit and whether it beat or missed the forecast, next to the Forecast and Previous figures. This is information only, not investment advice.
Q: Does Event Calendar update in real time?
No. It refreshes when you open the page, when you pull down to refresh on the Calendar page, and after a few minutes. Logging in or changing the app language refreshes it too. Released figures reach Pluang within minutes of publication and appear on the next refresh.
Q: Does a dash mean the forecast is zero?
No. A dash (–) means no forecast is available for that event. It is never a zero. Forecasts and EPS estimates are shown where available.
