Why Did an Event's Date Change or Disappear From Event Calendar?
The most common reason is that the company or issuer changed its plans: when a company moves its earnings date, the event updates in place to the new date, and when an issuer cancels a corporate action, the event is removed. Any reminder you set follows these changes, moving to the new date or being cancelled with the event. The issuer's or exchange's own announcement is always the source of truth, and an update may take some time to show in Event Calendar.
| Symptom / Condition | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| An earnings event now shows a different date | The company moved its earnings date | Nothing to do. The event updates in place to the new date, and any reminder you set moves with it. |
| A corporate action you saw before has disappeared | The issuer cancelled the corporate action | The event is removed and any reminder for it is cancelled. The change may take some time to show; the issuer's or exchange's announcement is the source of truth. |
| All events for one stock are gone | The stock has been delisted or is no longer tradable on Pluang | Single-stock events appear only for stocks you can trade on Pluang. IPOs are the only exception, because they aren't listed yet. |
| An event is no longer in Upcoming Events | The event has passed, or it's no longer among the top 10 for the next 14 days | Tap See all to open the Calendar page. For past events, choose a past period such as Yesterday, Last week or Last month, up to 12 months back. |
| A public holiday moved to a different date | The holiday dates were changed by government decision | Event Calendar follows the updated schedule once it's announced. Holidays appear only on the Calendar page, not in Upcoming Events; choose Holiday as the event type to check them. |
| An event you opened says it's no longer available | The event was corrected or removed after you opened it | Go back to the list and pull down to refresh. The detail sheet shows the updated event, or a "no longer available" state if it was removed. |
If the issue persists:
Contact Pluang Care via live chat in the Pluang app, email tanya@pluang.com, or call (021) 8063 0065 (Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB). Include the event name, the date you expected and where you saw it, your phone model and app version, and a screenshot of what you see.
Related questions:
Q: Will my reminder still arrive if an event's date changes?
Yes. The reminder moves with the event: 30 minutes before its new scheduled time, or 09:00 WIB one day before the date you need to act by for a corporate action. For an IPO, it arrives ahead of the key date of the IPO's ordering period. If the event is cancelled, the reminder is cancelled too.
Q: How do I find an event that has already happened?
Open Explore, choose Discover, then the Calendar tab, and tap See all to open the full Calendar page. Choose a past period such as Yesterday, Last week, Last month, or 3, 6 or 12 months ago. You can go back up to 12 months.
Q: Which date should I trust if Event Calendar and an official announcement differ?
The issuer's or exchange's own announcement is the source of truth. Event Calendar uses data from third-party market-data providers and exchange or issuer data, and changes may take some time to appear. If a date still looks wrong, report it to Pluang Care with a screenshot and the announcement.
Q: Are all corporate actions shown on Event Calendar?
Not all. Event Calendar covers corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, reverse splits, spin-offs, bonus shares and shareholder meetings (RUPS), but details may not be available for every corporate action, and mergers, name changes and redemptions aren't covered yet. Events for crypto, gold, mutual funds, futures, options and commodities aren't shown either.
