Is Event Calendar Free, and Is It Investment Advice?
Event Calendar is free for all Pluang app users, and it is not investment advice. It is general information: a schedule of upcoming and past market events for US and Indonesian stocks, such as economic releases, earnings, IPOs, corporate actions and market holidays. Labels such as HELD, WATCHLIST or High impact only describe how an event relates to you or how much it could move the market; they are not buy or sell signals. The data comes from third-party market-data providers and exchange or issuer data, and it may change or contain errors or delays. Event Calendar does not know your goals, time horizon or risk tolerance, and it never places orders or moves money. Use it as one input alongside your own research; investment decisions, and their outcomes, remain your own responsibility.
- Cost: Free for all users. There is no fee to view Event Calendar or to set reminders.
- What it is: A schedule of market events, each with a key figure such as a rate, an EPS estimate, a dividend amount, a split ratio or an IPO price range.
- What it is not: A recommendation, a trading signal, a price target or a personalised assessment of whether a stock suits you.
- Labels: HELD means the stock is in your portfolio, WATCHLIST that it's on one of your watchlists, and YOUR MARKET that a macro event affects a market you hold. High-impact events also show impact bars. None of these tell you to buy or sell.
- Data sources: Third-party market-data providers and exchange or issuer data. Dates can change when the issuer or exchange announces a change, and the event row updates in place.
- Refresh: When you open the page, when you pull down to refresh on the Calendar page, and after a few minutes. There is no live streaming. Logging in or changing the app language also refreshes it.
- Released figures: Actuals reach Pluang within minutes of publication and appear on the next refresh.
- Who decides: You do. Event Calendar never places, changes or cancels orders and never moves money; every trade is your own action.
