What Is Event Calendar on Pluang?
Event Calendar is a free feature in the Pluang app that shows upcoming market events for US stocks and Indonesian stocks in one place, so you can see what's coming up before it happens. It has two layers. The Upcoming Events module, which you open from Explore, then Discover, then the Calendar tab, shows up to 10 events most relevant to you from the next 14 days. Tap See all to open the full Calendar page, which has one tab for US Stocks and one for ID Stocks, with events listed day by day. There are five event types: Economic, Earnings, IPO, Corporate Action and Holiday. You can also set a reminder for an event so you don't miss it. Event Calendar is for information only: it does not place orders, does not move money and is not investment advice.
- Where to find it: Open Explore, choose Discover, then the Calendar tab. Upcoming Events sits at the top, and See all opens the full Calendar page. There is also a shortcut on the Homepage.
- Upcoming Events: Up to 10 events from the next 14 days, ranked by how relevant they are to you, with chips for All, US Stocks and ID Stocks.
- Calendar page: One tab per market, with events listed by day and filters for event type, period, My Assets and High Impact. You can also look back at past events.
- Event types: Economic (for example the FOMC rate decision, US CPI or the Bank Indonesia rate decision), Earnings, IPO, Corporate Action (for example dividends, stock splits and rights issues) and Holiday (market closures and early closes).
- Reminders: Tap an event to open its details, then tap Remind Me to get a push notification and an in-app inbox notification ahead of the event.
- Times: All times are shown in WIB.
Related questions:
Q: Does Event Calendar cost anything?
No. Event Calendar is free for all Pluang users. Browsing events, opening event details and setting reminders cost nothing, and you can even browse Upcoming Events and the full Calendar page without logging in. Logging in lets Pluang personalise Upcoming Events to your holdings and watchlists.
Q: Does Event Calendar place trades or move money?
No. Event Calendar is informational only. It cannot place, change or cancel orders, it never moves money in your account and it does not create transactions. Buttons such as View Asset only take you to the stock page; any buy or sell is still your own action, confirmed by you. Event Calendar is not investment advice.
Q: Why are event names in English?
Event names and descriptions, such as US CPI or FOMC, are shown in English whether your app is set to English or Bahasa Indonesia. Labels and buttons follow your app language.
Q: Which assets does Event Calendar cover?
US stocks and Indonesian stocks only. Events for a single stock appear only if that stock can be traded on Pluang, with IPOs as the exception because the company isn't listed yet. There are no events for crypto, gold, mutual funds, futures, options or commodities at the moment.
