What support is available if an AI agent executes a trade I didn't intend?

If an AI agent connected through Pluang Agentic Trading executes a trade you didn't intend, you can reach support through the same contact channels Pluang uses for any other transaction issue — there's no need to guess who to contact. Your first move should be to immediately revoke the agent's access from your account settings, which stops it from taking any further unintended actions while you sort out what happened. Next, review the trade's details in your Pluang portfolio and transaction history to confirm exactly what was executed, at what price, and when. Once you have those details, contact Pluang customer support and share them for review. A formal, agent-specific dispute process hasn't been published yet; each report is reviewed case by case. You can contact Pluang Care 24/7 through email at tanya@pluang.com or Call Center at (021) 8063 0065 during working hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB.

Because Pluang Agentic Trading gives an AI agent the ability to act inside your account, it's worth knowing exactly what to do the moment something looks wrong — speed matters, since a connected agent could otherwise attempt another action before you've had a chance to intervene.

What to do, in order:

1. Revoke the agent's access immediately. This is the single most important first step — it cuts off the connection so the agent cannot place another trade, check further data, or take any other action on your account. See "How do I revoke an AI agent's access to my Pluang account?" for the exact steps.

2. Review the trade in your portfolio and transaction history. Confirm the asset, quantity, price, and timestamp of the execution. Having these specifics ready will make your support request faster to process.

3. Take a screenshot or note down the transaction ID if one is available, since customer support will likely ask for it.

4. Contact Pluang customer support with everything you've gathered. Use in-app live chat, email, or the call center — the same channels you'd use for any other transaction question or dispute. You can contact Pluang Care 24/7 through email at tanya@pluang.com or Call Center at (021) 8063 0065 during working hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB.

5. Keep monitoring your account after reporting, in case any related activity (e.g. a linked order) also needs to be flagged.

Related questions:

Q: Will Pluang automatically reverse a trade my AI agent placed by mistake?
Not automatically — there's no guaranteed reversal simply because a trade was placed by an AI agent rather than manually. Each report is reviewed individually based on the transaction details you provide. That's why the first step is always to revoke access and report the trade promptly, so support has the best chance to look into it while the details are fresh.

Q: Do I need the exact transaction ID to contact support?
It helps, but it's not mandatory. If you can't locate a transaction ID, you can still describe the trade — asset, approximate time, quantity, and price — from your portfolio or transaction history, and customer support can help you locate the exact record from there.

Q: Is contacting support about an AI agent trade different from a normal transaction dispute?
The contact channels are the same — in-app live chat, email, or call center. Mention that the trade was executed via a connected AI agent so support has the full picture. A separate, agent-specific dispute process hasn't been published yet; these are handled case by case through standard support.

Q: Should I revoke access before or after contacting support?
Revoke access first. Stopping the agent from taking any further action protects your account immediately, while contacting support can happen right after — even a few minutes' delay before revoking could allow another unintended action to go through.
