Can I sell, send or transfer USDT that is in USDT Earn?
No. USDT that is held in USDT Earn cannot be sold, sent or transferred until you redeem it and the redeem completes. Every way of spending or moving USDT on Pluang checks only your Available to Transfer balance, and USDT held in Earn is never part of that balance. That covers selling USDT for rupiah, transferring it to IDR Crypto Funding or to the USDT Margin Account, using it as Crypto Futures margin, sending it to another wallet, Instant Conversion and funding a Pocket. Held in Earn includes your Earn Balance and any USDT still in Deposit in Progress or Withdrawal in Progress. It still counts in your total USDT, your portfolio value and your homepage total, so your overall balance does not drop when you deposit. To use that USDT, tap Redeem on the USDT Earn page and wait for the 13-day withdrawal period to end; the USDT then returns to your Available to Transfer balance and can be used as normal.
What USDT held in Earn can and cannot do
| Action | Possible with USDT in Earn? |
|---|---|
| Sell USDT for rupiah (transfer to IDR Crypto Funding) | No |
| Transfer to the USDT Margin Account or use as Crypto Futures margin | No |
| Send to another wallet | No |
| Instant Conversion or paying for an order in USDT | No |
| Fund a Pocket | No |
| Count in your total USDT and portfolio value | Yes |
| Earn daily rewards (Earn Balance and Requested redeems only) | Yes |
Plan ahead. Because getting USDT back takes 13 days, keep in your USDT Wallet any USDT you may need soon, for example to top up Crypto Futures margin quickly when the market moves. Only deposit USDT you are happy to leave in Earn for a while.

Q: Why does my USDT total look bigger than what I can transfer?
Your total USDT is your spot USDT plus everything held in Earn, while the amount you can sell, send or transfer is only your Available to Transfer balance. The USDT detail page breaks this down: Available to Transfer, Pending Balance and Held in Pockets sit in the spot box, and the Earn row shows what is held in Earn. The gap between your total and Available to Transfer is mostly your Earn holdings.
Q: Can I use my Earn Balance to add margin to a Crypto Futures position?
No. Margin funding draws only on your Available to Transfer balance, never on USDT held in Earn, and the USDT Margin Account itself does not earn USDT Earn rewards. If you trade Crypto Futures, keep enough USDT in your USDT Wallet to add margin when you need to. Redeeming from Earn takes 13 days, which is far too slow to rescue a position close to liquidation.
Q: Can I sell part of my USDT and leave the rest in Earn?
Yes. Redeem only the amount you want to sell, keeping either nothing or at least 1 USDT in your Earn Balance. The rest keeps earning as usual. After the 13-day withdrawal period, the redeemed USDT lands in your Available to Transfer balance, and you can then sell it by transferring it to IDR Crypto Funding, with the usual conversion fee and tax.
