FAQ article

Which banks can I use for VA top-up on Pluang?

You can top up via Virtual Account on Pluang using BCA VA, BRI VA, Mandiri VA, or Bank INA VA. BCA, BRI, and Mandiri VA only accept transfers from an account at the same bank, while Bank INA VA accepts transfers from any bank that supports Real Time Online (RTO), except SeaBank and Jago. Bank INA VA has replaced Permata VA, so old Permata VA numbers no longer work. All four share the same fee and credit the same balance.

BankStatus
BCA VAAvailable to all users (fully live since 30 July 2026) — transfer from a BCA account only
BRI VAAvailable to all users — transfer from a BRI account only
Mandiri VAAvailable to all users — transfer from a Mandiri account only
Bank INA VAAvailable to all users — transfer from any bank that supports Real Time Online (RTO), except SeaBank and Jago
Permata VAReplaced by Bank INA VA — old Permata VA numbers no longer work
  • BCA VA, BRI VA, and Mandiri VA only accept transfers from a matching-bank account — for example, BCA VA can only be topped up from a BCA account. Bank INA VA is the exception: you can transfer to it from any bank that supports Real Time Online (RTO), not only from a Bank INA account. See the related FAQ on cross-bank transfers for details.
  • SeaBank and Jago don't support RTO yet, so top-ups from those two banks can't go through Bank INA VA. Use BCA Direct Transfer (minimum Rp500,000), QRIS, or GoPay instead.
  • Fee, minimum (Rp10,000), and destination balance (IDR Crypto Funding) are identical across all supported VA banks.
  • Always copy the VA number shown in the Pluang app before you transfer. Don't reuse a VA number saved in your mobile banking history — it may be an old Permata VA number that no longer works.

Related questions:

Q: Is BCA VA still in limited beta?
No. BCA VA exited limited beta and became available to all Pluang users on 30 July 2026. Before that date it was restricted to a selected group of users only.

Q: What happened to Permata VA — can I still use it?
No. Permata VA has been replaced by Bank INA VA, and old Permata VA numbers no longer work — any top-up sent to one fails or is rejected automatically. Your existing balance and portfolio are unaffected; copy a current VA number from the Pluang app before your next top-up.

Q: Do I need a Bank INA account to use Bank INA VA?
No. You can transfer to Bank INA VA from any bank that supports Real Time Online (RTO) transfers. The only exceptions are SeaBank and Jago, which don't support RTO yet.

Q: Does it matter which VA bank I pick in terms of fees or speed?
No — every supported VA bank uses the same fee structure and credits the same IDR Crypto Funding balance. If you hold a BCA, BRI, or Mandiri account, you can use that bank's VA; otherwise, use Bank INA VA.
