What is the minimum amount to start investing on Pluang?
The lowest amount you can start investing with on Pluang is Rp10,000, for crypto and digital gold, while US stocks and ETFs start from US$1. Other products have minimums set by the unit they trade in rather than a fixed rupiah amount. Indonesian stocks are bought in lots of 100 shares, so the minimum is 100 times the share price: at Rp1,000 per share, one lot costs Rp100,000 before fees. Mutual funds each set their own minimum purchase, shown in the app before you buy. US Stock Options are bought by the contract, Crypto Futures by a minimum contract size that varies by contract, and Commodities by the lot. Transaction fees come on top of or out of these amounts, depending on the product. Starting small limits how much you put in, not the risk: the value of any investment can go up or down, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

Q: What is the cheapest way to start investing on Pluang?
Crypto and digital gold have the lowest starting amount, Rp10,000 per purchase, and US stocks and ETFs start from US$1 with fractional shares. If you prefer to invest small amounts regularly, gold Auto Invest buys gold for you automatically from Rp20,000 per purchase, for a period you choose or with no end date. Whichever you pick, first complete the verification the product needs; crypto needs only Basic Verification.
Q: Is there a minimum top-up on Pluang?
It depends on the method. A Virtual Account top-up starts from Rp10,000, and Direct BCA Transfer from Rp500,000. Topping up your RDN for Indonesian stocks has no minimum and no Pluang fee, although your bank may charge its own transfer fee. Check the top-up screen in the app for the methods available to you, and any fee, before you send money.
Q: Do fees count toward the minimum?
It depends on the product. For Indonesian stocks, fees are added on top of the transaction value, so you pay slightly more than the price of the lot. For crypto Instant Orders, the CFX fee comes out of the amount you enter: buying Rp1,000,000 of BTC gives you BTC worth Rp999,945. The order screen shows the total before you confirm, so you can see exactly what you will pay.
Q: Can I buy less than one share of a US stock?
Yes. US stocks and ETFs on Pluang support fractional shares, so you can buy part of a share from US$1 with a Market Order. Fractional purchases work on DAY orders only, not on GTC orders, which stay open for up to 30 calendar days. Indonesian stocks work differently: they are bought in whole lots of 100 shares, so the share price sets your minimum.
