Is There a Mutual Fund Switching Fee on Pluang?

No, there is no mutual fund switching fee on Pluang: switching is free. Pluang does not charge a switching fee when you move your balance from one mutual fund to another under the same investment manager. The costs borne by each mutual fund product are separate from switching: they are already included in the fund's NAV, which is updated every exchange trading day, they are listed in each fund's prospectus and fund fact sheet, and the amount differs from one fund to another. A free switch still follows the other switching rules: the amount must be at least 105% of the target fund's minimum purchase or minimum ownership, only Available Units can be switched, the cut-off time is 13:00 WIB and a switch takes a maximum of 2 business days. For all mutual fund fees on Pluang, see the Fees page on pluang.com (pluang.com/id/biaya?feesTab=mutual-funds).

Related questions:

Q: Is mutual fund switching really free on Pluang?
Yes. There is no mutual fund switching fee, so Pluang charges nothing for moving your balance from one fund to another under the same investment manager. Switching is still subject to its other rules: the amount must be at least 105% of the target fund's minimum purchase or minimum ownership, only Available Units can be switched, and some funds are not available for switching.

Q: Do the fund's own costs still apply after I switch?
Yes, but they are not a switching fee. Every mutual fund product has costs borne by the fund itself, which are already included in its NAV and differ from one fund to another. These costs apply to the fund you switch into in the same way they apply to anyone holding it. You can check them in the fund's prospectus and fund fact sheet.

Q: Is switching cheaper than selling one fund and buying another?
Switching has no switching fee and is a single transaction completed within a maximum of 2 business days. Selling and buying are two separate transactions: the sale proceeds are sent to your registered bank account within a maximum of 7 business days, and the new purchase then follows the normal purchase terms, including any fees for the payment method you use. You can only switch within the same investment manager.

Q: Where can I see all mutual fund fees on Pluang?
On the mutual funds section of the Fees page on pluang.com: pluang.com/id/biaya?feesTab=mutual-funds. For the costs of a specific fund, open its prospectus or fund fact sheet: scroll to the bottom of the fund's asset page in the Pluang app and tap Prospectus. Q: What is biaya pengalihan reksa dana?
Biaya pengalihan reksa dana is another Indonesian term for a switching fee: a fee that can be charged when you move money from one mutual fund to another. Pluang does not charge it, so switching between funds from the same investment manager on Pluang is free. It is different from the costs borne by each fund, which are already included in the fund's NAV.
