Do I Pay Mutual Fund Stamp Duty (Bea Meterai) on Pluang?

No. As of September 2026, mutual fund stamp duty (bea meterai) is not charged to you on Pluang. The stamp duty notified by KSEI (PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia) is, for the time being, borne by Pluang until further notice, so you do not pay it on your mutual fund transactions. Stamp duty is a tax the Indonesian government levies on certain documents, and KSEI is the transaction guarantor for mutual funds on Pluang. Because this arrangement applies only until further notice, it is temporary rather than permanent. The fees that do apply to mutual funds on Pluang are an admin fee on purchases paid with GoPay (Rp4,500 per transaction) or Virtual Account (Rp5,500 per transaction), with 11% VAT charged on that admin fee, and each fund's own costs, which are already included in its NAB. Your bank may also charge an interbank transfer fee if your bank account is at a different bank from the fund's custodian bank.
