What is the difference between IDR Yield and USD Yield?

IDR Yield and USD Yield are two separate Pluang programs: IDR Yield pays a yearly return on the rupiah in your IDR Cash, and USD Yield pays a yearly return on your withdrawable USD cash balance. Both need Global & Yield Asset Verification, both must be activated separately in the app, and neither has a maximum balance. The differences are in the rates and the mechanics. As of October 2026, IDR Yield pays 2.5% per year for Pluang Plus members and 1% for regular users, calculated daily on your 23:59 WIB balance and paid by the 10th of the following month. USD Yield pays 3.38% and 0.63% per year respectively, is calculated on your average daily balance and is paid on the 5th of each month. Activating one does not activate the other.

Related questions

Q: Can I earn IDR Yield and USD Yield at the same time?
Yes. The two programs are independent, so you can activate both and earn on your IDR Cash and your USD cash balance at the same time. Each is calculated on its own balance at its own rate and paid on its own date: IDR Yield by the 10th of the following month, and USD Yield on the 5th of each month.

Q: Does converting between USD and IDR cost anything?
Yes. Converting between IDR and USD costs 0.25% of the amount plus 11% VAT on that fee, in either direction. Moving money between your two IDR wallets, IDR Crypto Funding and IDR Cash, is free. Keep the conversion cost in mind if you move money between your USD and IDR balances, because it applies every time you convert.

Q: Do both programs use the same Pluang Plus status?
Yes. Your Pluang Plus status applies across Pluang, so as a member you earn the Pluang Plus rate in both programs: 2.5% per year on IDR Yield and 3.38% per year on USD Yield, as of October 2026. If your status changes during a month, each program applies the rate that matches your status from that point.
