Are There Any Fees for Staking or Unstaking on Pluang?

Pluang does not charge a direct staking or unstaking transaction fee. You are not billed a separate line-item charge to start staking, to submit an unstaking request, or to receive your weekly rewards. Instead, the cost of participating is reflected indirectly in the spread between the network's gross staking yield and the APY Pluang offers to users — so the rate you see is already net of that spread. Separately, tax deductions apply to your gross rewards per prevailing regulation: currently TDS at 5% and VAT (PPN) at 0.11%. These are statutory taxes withheld and remitted to the tax authority on your behalf, not fees that Pluang profits from.

Good to know:

  • No direct staking or unstaking fee. There is no charge to submit a staking or unstaking request — the act itself does not deduct a transaction fee.
  • The cost is indirect. Pluang's compensation sits in the spread between the network's gross yield and the APY offered, so the displayed APY is already net of it.
  • Gas fees absorbed by Pluang. On-chain delegation and undelegation costs are covered by Pluang; users pay no separate gas fees and need no external wallet.
  • Taxes are statutory, not Pluang fees. Per prevailing regulation, TDS (currently 5%) and VAT/PPN (currently 0.11%) are withheld from gross rewards and remitted to the tax authority (DJP).
  • No hidden penalties. No lock-up penalty and no early-termination charge — unstake early and you simply stop earning from the day after the request.
  • Withdrawing off-platform is separate. Standard crypto withdrawal fees apply per the normal fee schedule if you later move coins off Pluang — a general cost, not staking-specific.

Related questions:

Q: Does Pluang take a cut of my staking rewards?
Not as a separate line item. Pluang's compensation is built into the spread between the network's gross yield and the APY offered, so the APY you see is already net of it. Only the statutory taxes are deducted on top, and those go to the tax authority.

Q: Are TDS and VAT the same as a platform fee?
No. They are statutory Indonesian taxes applied per prevailing regulation (currently 5% and 0.11%), withheld and remitted to the tax authority (DJP) on your behalf — not Pluang revenue.

Q: Is there a penalty for unstaking early?
No. There is no penalty or early-termination fee. You simply stop accruing rewards from the day after your request, then wait out the network's unbonding period.

Q: Are there gas fees for staking on Pluang?
Not for you. Pluang absorbs on-chain gas costs for delegation and undelegation, and staking uses your existing Pluang wallet — no separate wallet or technical setup needed.

Q: If I withdraw my coins after unstaking, is there a fee?
Withdrawing off Pluang is separate from unstaking; standard crypto withdrawal fees apply per the normal fee schedule. Check the current schedule in the app before withdrawing.
