Do I need to verify my device before I can send crypto?

Only if you're logging in from a device that has never accessed your Pluang account before — Crypto Send is restricted until New Device Verification (a selfie/liveness check) is completed. Once verified, Crypto Send becomes immediately available.

Good to know:

  • New Device Verification triggers automatically when you log in from a phone or tablet never previously used on your account.
  • Verification method: a selfie combined with a liveness check.
  • You get 3 attempts; if all 3 fail, Pluang sends an email requesting additional data for manual verification via video call.
  • Besides Crypto Send, this same restriction also applies to Cashout, Reset PIN, and Forgot PIN until verification completes.
  • Devices that logged in before this feature launched are automatically considered verified — no re-verification needed for them.
