What Is Crypto Send on Pluang?

Crypto Send is Pluang's feature for transferring your crypto asset itself out of your Pluang account — either to another Pluang user or to an external wallet address on a supported network. The key thing to understand is that it moves the actual crypto asset, not an IDR amount: your Bitcoin, USDT, or other coin leaves your account as crypto and arrives at the destination as the same crypto. That's what makes it different from Cashout, a separate feature that withdraws Indonesian rupiah to your registered bank account, and only after you've sold crypto to IDR first. With Crypto Send there's no selling and no currency conversion — the coin is simply transferred.

Good to know:

  • Two possible destinations. Crypto Send can move your asset to another Pluang user's account, or to an external wallet address on a network Pluang supports for that coin.
  • It moves the asset, not IDR. The crypto itself is transferred — nothing is sold or converted to rupiah. The coin that leaves is the coin that arrives.
  • It's not the same as Cashout. Cashout withdraws IDR to your registered bank account and only works after you've sold crypto into rupiah. For rupiah in your bank, use Cashout; to move the coin itself, use Crypto Send.
  • Free to Pluang users, priced for external wallets. Sending to another Pluang user is free; sending to an external wallet carries a network fee plus applicable VAT.
  • The network must match the destination. When sending to an external wallet, the network you choose must match what the receiving wallet supports — a mismatch can permanently lose the funds.
  • Authenticator is mandatory. Every Crypto Send requires Authenticator verification and it cannot be bypassed.

Related questions:

Q: Does Crypto Send convert my crypto to IDR?
No. Crypto Send transfers the crypto asset itself — it doesn't sell or convert it to rupiah. The coin that leaves your account is the same coin that arrives. For rupiah in your bank, use Cashout, which requires selling to IDR first.

Q: How is Crypto Send different from Cashout?
Crypto Send moves the crypto asset, kept as crypto, to another Pluang user or an external wallet. Cashout withdraws rupiah to your bank account, and only after you've sold crypto into IDR. One moves the coin; the other gets rupiah into your bank.

Q: Is Crypto Send free?
It depends on the destination. Sending to another Pluang user is free. Sending to an external wallet carries a network fee plus applicable VAT, since it travels across a public blockchain. Check the send screen for the fee before confirming.

Q: Can I send any crypto asset available on Pluang?
Crypto Send is available for the coins and networks Pluang supports. For external wallets, the network you pick must also match what the receiving wallet supports. Check the send screen in the app for the current list.

Q: Why does Crypto Send require Authenticator?
Because it moves real crypto on a blockchain, and those transfers can't be reversed once broadcast. Authenticator is mandatory for every send and can't be bypassed — one layer alongside the PIN and email OTP checks that run on each transfer.
