How do I change the bank account my RDN withdrawals or mutual fund sale proceeds go to?

You can change your RDN withdrawal bank account yourself in the Pluang app, and the change takes effect immediately. Open the bank account page in the Account menu, select the saved account you want, and turn on "RDN Withdrawal" under "Set as default bank account for:". Your next RDN withdrawal goes to that account, and you have one RDN withdrawal account at a time. The feature is available from Pluang app version 7.7.5 on iOS and Android. Mutual fund sale proceeds are set separately: you register a saved account for mutual funds with "Daftarkan untuk Reksa Dana", and that registration takes some time to process, so it isn't immediate. Either way, the account must already be saved in Pluang, verified, and in your own name. If you add a new account first, Pluang's 24-hour security hold may delay your first withdrawal to it. Changing the account is free, and deleting a saved account still goes through Pluang Care.

  • One RDN withdrawal account at a time: turning on "RDN Withdrawal" for a new account moves your RDN withdrawals to it, so you don't need to switch the old one off separately.
  • Mutual funds, sale by sale: when you sell a mutual fund, you can still choose which of your registered mutual fund banks receives the proceeds on the "Tinjau Order" page.
  • If the account isn't saved yet: add it first on the same bank account page, and make sure the account holder's name matches the name on your e-KTP.

Related questions:

Q: Does the change take effect straight away?
For RDN withdrawals, yes. Once you turn on "RDN Withdrawal" for an account, your next RDN withdrawal goes there, with no waiting period and no request to Pluang Care. Registering an account for mutual fund sale proceeds is different: it takes some time to process before it applies. If you're planning to sell a mutual fund soon, register the account first and give it time, so your proceeds go where you want.

Q: Does it cost anything to use a different bank?
Changing the account itself is free. RDN withdrawals to the same bank as your RDN are free, while a withdrawal to another bank costs Rp2,900 per transaction, and a Bank Jago RDN caps withdrawals to other banks at Rp1,000,000,000 a day. For mutual funds, if your account is at a different bank from the one holding the fund, your bank deducts a transfer fee of about Rp2,500 to Rp30,000 per transaction.

Q: Can I use someone else's bank account?
No. RDN withdrawals and mutual fund sale proceeds can only go to a bank account in your own name, and the name on the account must match the name registered with Pluang and on your e-KTP. This is an anti-money laundering requirement. You can save up to 5 bank accounts, each from a different bank, and choose any of them as long as it's in your name.

Q: Can I change the bank that holds my RDN itself?
No, not by yourself in the app. Choosing an RDN withdrawal account only changes where your RDN money is sent when you withdraw. The RDN itself stays with the bank it was opened at, Bank Jago or BCA. If you want to move your RDN to the other partner bank, contact Pluang Care, and the team will explain the current process.

Q: How do I remove a bank account I no longer use?
Deleting a saved bank account is still done through Pluang Care, by in-app live chat or tanya@pluang.com, and it takes 1–3 business days once your details are complete. If the account is your RDN withdrawal account, switch "RDN Withdrawal" to another saved account in the app first, so your withdrawals keep working while the deletion is processed.
