Can children under 17 years old who do not have an ID card verify their identity on Pluang?

No, since starting April 17, 2025, users under 17 years of age who do not have an ID card cannot register and verify their identity on Pluang.

This is enforced in line with OJK Regulation No. 22/POJK.04/2021 concerning the Implementation of Good Corporate Governance for Securities Companies, as well as Law No. 10 of 1998 concerning Banking, which states that individuals who make legal agreements (including investment contracts) must be recognized as legally competent.

Additionally, under the General Provisions for Crypto Asset Trading regulated by OJK, users must have the legal capacity to engage in crypto transactions, which again refers to the age legally recognized as an adult.
