What Are the Verification Requirements to Invest in US Stocks on Pluang?

To invest in US Stocks on Pluang, your account must complete two verification steps: Basic Verification (e-KTP and NPWP required) and US Stock Identity Verification (Global & Yield Asset Verification). Both must be fully approved before you can buy or sell US Stocks. Make sure your USD balance is sufficient before transacting.

Step 1 — Basic Verification

Required for all Pluang accounts. You will need your e-KTP and NPWP. This unlocks access to Crypto and Gold products. If you already use Pluang, this is likely already complete.

Step 2 — Global & Yield Asset Verification (US Stock Identity Verification)

An additional verification step specifically required for US Stocks and other Global & Yield assets. This step also automatically creates your Pluang Commodity Account (required by BAPPEBTI regulations).

Navigation: Account → Identity Verification → Global & Yield Asset Verification

Common reasons you cannot invest in US Stocks:

  • Basic Verification not yet completed or pending approval
  • US Stock Identity Verification not yet completed or pending approval
  • Insufficient USD balance to place a transaction

Why can't I see new US Stocks yet?

If new stocks have been added to Pluang but you can't see them, update your Pluang app to the latest version. New stock listings require an app update to appear in the catalogue.
