What Information Is Shown in the “Your Position” Section for US Stocks on Pluang?

The “Your Position” section on a US stock asset page summarises what you currently hold in that stock. It shows Amount, meaning the number of units you own; Portfolio Value, the rupiah value of your non-leveraged holding at the current market price, which was previously labelled Equity Value; Average Purchase Price, your total invested amount divided by the total units you bought; Daily Profit and Loss, covering today's movement only and calculated as units multiplied by the difference between the current price and yesterday's closing price; and Unrealized Profit and Loss, the paper gain or loss measured from your average purchase price against the current mid-price. If you hold the same stock both with and without leverage, the section separates the two into Leverage and No Leverage views so each position is read on its own terms.

  • Amount: The number of units you currently own in that stock.
  • Portfolio Value (Nilai Portofolio): Rupiah value of your non-leveraged holding at the current market price — previously labelled Equity Value.
  • Average Purchase Price: Total amount invested divided by the total units purchased.
  • Daily Profit and Loss: Today's movement only — units × (current price − yesterday's closing price); it resets at 00:00 WIB.
  • Unrealized Profit and Loss: Paper gain or loss from your average purchase price against the current mid-price; it moves in real time.
  • Leverage / No Leverage: The section splits your holding into leveraged and non-leveraged views when you hold both.
  • Elsewhere on the same asset page: Market Cap, Sector, 3M Drawdown, Enterprise Value, Dividend Yield, Trading Activity, and Typical Hold Time describe the stock itself rather than your position.

Related questions:

Q: What is the difference between Daily P&L and Unrealized P&L?
Daily Profit and Loss measures today only. It compares the current price against yesterday's closing price, multiplied by the units you hold, and it resets at 00:00 WIB each day, so it ignores everything that happened before today. Unrealized Profit and Loss is cumulative instead: it measures the gap between your average purchase price and the current mid-price across your whole holding period, showing the paper result of the position overall.

Q: Why does my Average Purchase Price change when I buy more of the same stock?
Average Purchase Price is a blended figure, recalculated every time you add to the position. It is your total invested amount divided by the total units you hold, so buying more units at a price above your existing average pulls the average up, while buying below it pulls the average down. Because Unrealized P&L is measured against this average, a change here also shifts the unrealised figure shown alongside it.

Q: What does Portfolio Value in this section mean, and was it renamed?
Portfolio Value, shown in Indonesian as Nilai Portofolio, is the rupiah value of your non-leveraged holding in that stock at the current market price. It was previously labelled Equity Value in this section, and that older name has been retired, so a screenshot or article using the old term is referring to the same field. The figure moves with the market price rather than with anything you do to the position.

Q: Why are my leveraged and non-leveraged holdings shown separately?
Because they behave differently and are funded differently. Splitting the section into Leverage and No Leverage views lets you read each position on its own terms rather than seeing one blended number that hides how much of the exposure is leveraged. If you only hold the stock one way, you will simply see that view. Holding both means each has its own Amount, average purchase price, and unrealised result.
