What this means for you

Your position on Pluang is a financial derivative contract through PT PG Berjangka that follows the price of the US stock, so price movements and dividends pass through to you, but shareholder voting rights do not. The difference from a CFD is how the trade is carried out: your order is forwarded to the US market and backed by shares held at Alpaca, not settled only as a price difference with the provider. During regular hours, orders go to NYSE or Nasdaq; in the 24-Hour Market, eligible stocks are traded through BlueOcean, a US venue operating outside regular hours.

Prices of US stocks and ETFs can go up or down, and past performance does not predict future results. Leverage, where you use it, increases both gains and losses.
