Can I Top Up VA on Pluang From a Different Bank Account?

No — every VA bank on Pluang only accepts transfers from a matching-bank account. BCA VA, BRI VA, and Mandiri VA each require a same-bank transfer: you cannot transfer to a BCA VA number from a Mandiri or BRI account, for example. If you don't hold an account with BCA, BRI, or Mandiri, use Direct BCA Transfer, QRIS, or GoPay instead. This same-bank rule is separate from the requirement that the account be registered in your own name — both apply independently regardless of which VA bank you use.

  • The same-bank rule applies to BCA VA, BRI VA, and Mandiri VA independently: having a BCA account lets you use BCA VA, but not BRI VA or Mandiri VA.
  • No VA bank currently accepts cross-bank transfers — if none of the three matches your bank, VA isn't an option for you right now.
  • This is separate from the own-name requirement — even from a matching bank, the account must still be registered in your own name matching your Pluang account.
  • If you don't hold a BCA/BRI/Mandiri account, Direct BCA Transfer accepts transfers from other banks via Real Time Online (RTOL), RTGS, SKN, or Bank Teller transfer, though it credits IDR Cash Wallet instead of IDR Crypto Funding. QRIS and GoPay are also available regardless of your bank.

Related questions:

Q: Can I send money to my BCA VA number from a Mandiri account?
No. BCA VA only accepts transfers from BCA accounts. Use Direct BCA Transfer, QRIS, or GoPay instead.

Q: What should I do if I don't have an account with BCA, BRI, or Mandiri?
Use Direct BCA Transfer, QRIS, or GoPay — none of the three VA banks currently accept transfers from other banks.

Q: Is this the same rule as the "must use your own name" requirement?
No, they're separate rules. The same-bank rule is about which bank the transfer comes from; the own-name rule is about whose name the account is registered under. Both must be satisfied for a VA top-up to go through normally.
