What Is a Virtual Account (VA) on Pluang?

A Virtual Account (VA) on Pluang is a unique bank account number that Pluang generates for you, used specifically to top up your Pluang balance by transferring funds into it from your own bank account. Pluang currently supports VA top-up from BCA, BRI, and Mandiri. Unlike a regular bank account, a Pluang VA number isn't meant for everyday banking — its only purpose is receiving top-up transfers, and Pluang can change the number shown at any time without notice, so always check the current number in the app before transferring rather than reusing one from a past top-up. Once you transfer to your Pluang VA number, the amount credits instantly to your IDR Crypto Funding balance, ready to use for crypto purchases and other transactions. VA is one of several top-up methods Pluang offers, alongside BCA Direct Transfer, QRIS, and GoPay.

  • Purpose: a Pluang VA number exists solely to route your top-up transfer to your Pluang account — it's not a general-purpose bank account you can receive other payments into.
  • Bank-specific: each VA bank (BCA VA, BRI VA, Mandiri VA) only accepts transfers from a matching-bank account — see the dedicated FAQ on cross-bank transfers for details.
  • Changes without notice: Pluang can regenerate your VA number at any time, so the number shown in the app right now is the only one guaranteed to work.
  • Fee and minimum: VA top-up has its own fee structure and Rp10,000 minimum — see the dedicated fee FAQ for exact figures.
  • Where it's found: Home → Wallet → Top Up → Virtual Account, then select your bank.

Related questions:

Q: Is my Pluang VA number the same every time I top up?
Not necessarily. Pluang can change the VA number shown at any time without prior notice, so always use whatever number is currently displayed in the app rather than one saved from a previous top-up.

Q: Can I receive regular payments into my Pluang VA number, the way I would with a normal bank account?
No. A Pluang VA number exists solely to route top-up transfers to your Pluang balance — it isn't a general-purpose bank account and shouldn't be shared as one, for example to receive payment from someone else for an unrelated purpose.

Q: Which banks does Pluang support for VA top-up?
BCA, BRI, and Mandiri are currently supported. See the dedicated FAQ on supported VA banks for details.

Q: Does Pluang charge a fee for VA top-up?
Yes — VA top-up carries a per-transaction fee that varies by amount. See the dedicated fee FAQ for the exact current figures.
