Can I top up via Direct BCA Transfer from an e-wallet, Flip, BRILink or a foreign-currency account?

No. A Direct BCA Transfer top-up has to come from a rupiah bank account in your own name, so transfers from an e-wallet such as GoPay, OVO or DANA, from a money transfer service such as Flip, through a BRILink agent, or from a foreign-currency account aren't accepted. These transfers usually reach Pluang from the provider's or agent's account rather than yours, or in another currency, so Pluang can't credit them to you and the money is refunded instead. Your account can be at BCA or any other bank, as long as it's yours, its name matches your registered Pluang name, and you transfer the exact amount shown in the app by Real Time Online transfer. If you want to top up from an e-wallet, use QRIS, which you can pay from any QRIS-supporting e-wallet or mobile banking app, or top up directly from your GoPay balance. Both charge a small fee that the app shows before you confirm.

  • Transfers through money transfer services, such as Flip, or through a BRILink agent
  • Transfers from a foreign-currency account, such as a USD account
  • Transfers from an account in someone else's name

Related questions:

Q: What happens if I already sent money from an e-wallet, Flip or BRILink?
The transfer can't be credited to your Pluang balance, so it's refunded. Contact Pluang Care with your proof of transfer and the team tells you what else to send. A refund is processed within 2 working days once your data is complete, and working days exclude weekends and public holidays. The steps are explained in "Why was my Direct BCA top-up refunded, and when will I get my money back?".

Q: How can I top up from my e-wallet instead?
Use QRIS or GoPay in the Pluang top-up menu. QRIS lets you pay from any e-wallet or mobile banking app that supports QRIS, and GoPay tops up straight from your GoPay balance. Both charge a fee, which the app shows before you confirm. Note that QRIS and GoPay top-ups go to your Saldo Crypto IDR (IDR Crypto Funding), while Direct BCA Transfer tops up your Dompet IDR (IDR Cash Wallet).

Q: Can I transfer from a bank other than BCA?
Yes. Direct BCA Transfer accepts a transfer from your own rupiah account at another bank, as long as the name matches your registered Pluang name and the amount matches the app exactly. A transfer from a bank other than BCA can take longer to arrive, up to 1 business day depending on the sending bank. BI-FAST isn't available for Direct BCA top-ups at the moment, so choose Real Time Online.

Q: Can I pay at a bank branch?
Yes, if you ask the teller for a book transfer or interbank transfer from your own account, not a cash deposit slip. The transfer still has to come from a rupiah account in your name and match the exact amount shown in the app. A cash deposit doesn't show your account as the sender, so it can't be matched to your top-up request.
