Why is the total on my Home page different from my Portfolio page?
The total on your Home page and the figures on your Portfolio page usually differ for one of a few everyday reasons, not because an amount is missing. The most common is timing: Pluang prices different assets from different live sources, such as exchange rates, stocks, crypto and gold, so values moving between the moment you look at one page and the next can show slightly different totals. What each figure includes also matters. The Rupiah figure on the Home page includes your cash balance, while a figure for one asset category, one tab such as Pockets, or one asset's percentage covers only that part of your portfolio. Viewing US Stocks in USD rather than Rupiah removes the exchange-rate effect, and Crypto Futures and leveraged positions are counted at your Invested Amount plus unrealised profit or loss. Compare figures of the same kind, in the same currency, at the same moment, and they should line up.
| Symptom / Condition | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| The totals differ slightly and keep changing | Prices update continuously from several live sources, so the pages were read at different moments | Compare the two pages one after the other; small moving differences are normal |
| The Home page figure is higher than a portfolio figure | The Home page Rupiah figure includes your cash balance; a category or tab figure covers only the assets in it | Compare the Home page figure with the overall portfolio total, not with one category or tab |
| A percentage on one asset doesn't match the portfolio percentage | The total percentage is weighted across all your holdings and includes currency effects in Rupiah | Compare an asset's percentage with that asset only; see how the return percentage is calculated |
| US Stocks look different on two screens | One screen shows USD, the other Rupiah, which adds the exchange-rate effect | Switch both to the same currency before comparing |
| A Crypto Futures or leveraged position looks smaller than its position size | As of 31 August 2026, these positions count at Invested Amount plus unrealised profit or loss, not full exposure | No action needed; your position, leverage and margin are unchanged |
| The figures stay different after the prices have settled | The app display may not have refreshed | Close the Pluang app fully and open it again, then compare |
If the issue persists:
If the Home page and the Portfolio page still show clearly different totals for the same thing after you have refreshed the app and compared the same currency, contact Pluang Care via live chat in the app, email tanya@pluang.com, or call (021) 8063 0065 (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB). Include screenshots of both pages taken one after the other.

Q: Which figure shows my total wealth on Pluang?
The Rupiah figure on the Home page is the broadest view, because it includes the value of the assets you own and your cash balance. The Portfolio page breaks that down into categories, tabs and individual assets, so any single figure there covers only part of the whole. As of 31 August 2026, leveraged US Stocks and Crypto Futures are counted at your Invested Amount plus unrealised profit or loss, so the total reflects your own capital.
Q: Why do small differences keep appearing and disappearing?
Because the prices behind your portfolio keep moving. Pluang uses several live price sources depending on the asset, for example exchange rates for US dollar holdings and separate prices for stocks, crypto and gold. If you open one page and then another a few seconds later, the prices may have moved in between, so the totals differ slightly. The differences come and go with the market and don't mean anything has been added to or taken from your account.
Q: Does my USD balance count in the Home page figure?
Your cash balances are part of the Home page Rupiah figure, and that includes the Rupiah value of your USD balance. The portfolio values your US dollars at the mid price between the buy and sell rate, while the wallet page uses the lower USD sell price, so the Rupiah value of the same dollars can look slightly different on those two pages. Your dollar amount is the same everywhere.
Q: Should the Home page and the Portfolio Value always match?
They are calculated the same way, so when you compare like with like at the same moment they should agree. Differences normally come from comparing different things, such as a total against a single category, a Rupiah figure against a USD figure, or two readings taken seconds apart while prices move. If they still don't agree after you have lined those up and refreshed the app, contact Pluang Care with screenshots of both pages.
