Why hasn't the asset I just bought appeared in my Pluang portfolio?
The most common reason an asset you just bought hasn't appeared in your portfolio is that the order hasn't executed yet. An asset joins your holdings only once the order is filled: a limit order waits until the market reaches your price, a US Stocks market order placed outside market hours becomes a Pending Market Order until the market opens, and an Indonesian Stocks order that isn't matched before it expires never fills. Mutual funds take longer by design: if your payment is confirmed before 13:00 WIB on an exchange day, your units are added on the next exchange day, and if it is confirmed at or after 13:00 WIB, within 2 exchange days. Check the order's status in your transaction history first. If it shows as completed, make sure you are looking in the right place, for example the Pockets tab for a Pocket purchase or your Crypto Futures portfolio for a Crypto Futures position, then close and reopen the app to refresh the display.
| Symptom / Condition | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| The order is still listed as open or pending | The order hasn't executed yet, for example a limit order waiting for your price | Wait for it to fill, or check the price you set. Units or funds reserved for the order are held until it executes, expires or is cancelled |
| You placed a US Stocks market order outside market hours | It became a Pending Market Order, queued for when the market opens | Wait for the next regular session, which opens at 21:30 WIB (20:30 WIB during US daylight saving time) |
| Your Indonesian Stocks order wasn't matched | Day and Session orders expire at the end of their validity if they don't match | Check the order in your transaction history. Funds held for an expired buy order return to your RDN balance |
| You bought a mutual fund | Mutual fund units are added after the purchase is processed at that day's NAV | Before 13:00 WIB on an exchange day: units arrive on the next exchange day. At or after 13:00 WIB: within 2 exchange days |
| The transaction shows as failed, cancelled or rejected | The order didn't go through, so nothing was bought | Check the reason in your transaction history, then place the order again if you still want to buy |
| The order is completed but you can't find the asset | You may be looking in a different part of the portfolio | Check the Pockets tab for Pocket purchases and your Crypto Futures portfolio for Crypto Futures positions |
| Everything looks completed but the screen hasn't updated | The app display hasn't refreshed yet | Close the Pluang app fully and open it again |
If the issue persists:
If your transaction history shows the purchase as completed but the asset still isn't in your portfolio after you have refreshed the app, contact Pluang Care via live chat in the app, email tanya@pluang.com, or call (021) 8063 0065 (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB). Include the asset, the date and time of the order, the amount, and a screenshot of the transaction details.

Q: Where can I check whether my order went through?
Your transaction history in the Pluang app lists your transactions with their status, including successful, failed, cancelled and rejected orders, and pending orders can also be viewed there. The page covers the last 6 months; for older records you can request the Transaction History Report, which is sent to your registered email. If an order is still open or pending, it hasn't executed yet, which is the usual reason the asset isn't in your portfolio.
Q: Why does a mutual fund take longer to appear than a stock or crypto?
Because a mutual fund purchase is processed at that exchange day's NAV, which is only calculated at the end of the day, and the units are then allocated to you. With payment confirmed before 13:00 WIB on an exchange day, your units are added on the next exchange day; at or after 13:00 WIB, within 2 exchange days. Weekends, national holidays and Cuti Bersama are not exchange days, so a Friday afternoon purchase takes longer in calendar days.
Q: My money was deducted but I don't see the asset. Has it been lost?
No. When you place an order, the funds for it are reserved straight away, so your balance drops even though the asset hasn't been bought yet. If the order executes, the asset appears in your holdings. If it expires or is cancelled, the reserved funds are returned: for Indonesian Stocks, to your RDN balance. For a mutual fund, the payment is used to buy units at that day's NAV, and the units arrive within the processing time.
Q: Why can't I find my Pocket purchase in the Assets list?
Because the portfolio shows Pockets in their own Pockets tab, separately from assets you bought one by one. Open the Portfolio from the Home page and switch to the Pockets tab to see what you hold through each Pocket. The Pluang guide "Portfolio Overview Page in Pluang" shows where each tab sits. If a Pocket holds USDT, that part appears as cash, labelled Saldo USDT, rather than as a crypto asset.
