Troubleshooting guide

Why doesn't my realised profit and loss match my Transaction History or Tax Report?

Your realised profit and loss in the portfolio and the figures in your Transaction History or Tax Report usually differ because they cover different periods, different items and different purposes. The portfolio figure is a running total across the life of your account and brings together results from all your assets, including dividends and rewards and, as of 31 August 2026, your closed Crypto Futures positions. A Tax Report covers one calendar year, is split by asset, and shows the figure that asset needs for filing: total tax collected for crypto, and realised profit or loss for US Stocks, mutual funds and gold. Some assets, including Indonesian Stocks, Options and Crypto Futures, have no Tax Report as of September 2026. The Transaction History Report lists individual transactions rather than a profit total. For your annual tax return, use the Tax Report, not the portfolio figure.

Related questions:

Q: Which figure should I use for my SPT?
Use the Tax Report. It is built for filing: it covers one full calendar year and gives the figures each supported asset needs, such as realised profit or loss for US Stocks, mutual funds and gold, total tax collected on crypto transactions, and US Stocks dividends and USD Yield. You can download it in the app from Akun → Laporan → Laporan Pajak for any calendar year that has already ended. The portfolio figure is a performance summary, not a tax document.

Q: Why does my portfolio show realised profit I didn't get from selling?
Because realised profit and loss isn't limited to sales. It also counts settled income such as dividends and rewards, including Crypto Staking rewards at their value when paid out. As of 31 August 2026, it also includes the results of your closed Crypto Futures positions, which previously appeared only in the separate Futures tab. The portfolio summary's profit and loss breakdown lists these items separately, so you can see where each part came from.

Q: Why isn't there a Tax Report for my Indonesian Stocks?
As of September 2026, the Tax Report is available for Crypto, US Stocks (including US ETFs), Mutual Funds and Gold only. There is no Tax Report yet for Indonesian Stocks, Options or Crypto Futures. For those assets, use your transaction records: the transaction history in the app covers the last 6 months, and the Transaction History Report, sent to your registered email, covers older completed transactions.

Q: Can I get this year's Tax Report now?
No. A year's Tax Report becomes available only after that calendar year has ended, because it reflects your holdings at the end of the year. Once 31 December has passed, you can download the report for that year, and every earlier calendar year is available too. Each report covers one full year, from 1 January to 31 December, and is sent to your registered email after you request it in the app.
