Where did the asset allocation chart go on my Pluang portfolio?

The latest portfolio update simplified the Asset Class Allocation section on the Overview tab of your Portfolio page. The circular chart and the percentage split were removed, and your allocation now shows as a Rupiah value for each asset class instead. You will see cards such as Crypto, Crypto Futures, US Stocks, Leveraged US Stocks and Cash, each with its value; Crypto and US Stocks also show what you hold in Pockets separately. The chart was removed because leveraged positions, such as Crypto Futures, can swing in value quickly, which made the percentages jump around even when you had not traded. Nothing about your holdings or their value changed. If the whole Asset Class Allocation section is missing, rather than just the chart, contact Pluang Customer Service.

What the Asset Class Allocation cards show

CardWhat it shows
CryptoYour spot coins as Assets, and coins held in Pockets as Pocket
Crypto FuturesTotal Value: the margin backing your positions plus unrealised profit or loss
US StocksYour US Stocks as Assets, and US Stocks held in Pockets as Pocket
Leveraged US StocksTotal Value: your own money in leveraged positions plus unrealised profit or loss
CashTotal Value of your cash balances, including USD and USDT
  • All in Rupiah. USD and USDT values on these cards are converted to Rupiah at today's rate, and the rate used is shown in the app.
  • Where to find it. Open the Pluang app, tap Portfolio, and scroll down the Overview tab to Asset Class Allocation.

Related questions:

Q: Can I still see what share of my portfolio each asset class makes up?
Not as a percentage, since the update removed the percentage split. You can work it out yourself by dividing an asset class's value on its card by your Portfolio Value at the top of the Overview tab. For example, a US Stocks card showing Rp5,000,000 in a portfolio worth Rp20,000,000 is 25% of your portfolio. The result moves as prices and exchange rates change.

Q: Why was the chart removed?
Because a percentage chart does not work well for leveraged products. The value counted for a leveraged US Stocks position is your own money plus its profit or loss, and for Crypto Futures it is the margin backing your positions plus their profit or loss; both can move sharply in a short time. A chart would then show your allocation shifting even though you had not bought or sold anything. Showing a Rupiah value for each class keeps the section accurate without implying changes you didn't make.

Q: What does Total Value on the Crypto Futures card mean?
It is the Rupiah value of the margin backing your open Crypto Futures positions plus their unrealised profit or loss, which is the amount your open Crypto Futures positions count for in your investments. Any margin wallet balance not backing a position counts separately as cash. It is not the full position size you control with leverage. To see your margin, positions and profit or loss in detail, open the Crypto Futures tab under Assets.

Q: Is it a problem if I can't see the Asset Class Allocation section at all?
It can be. The update removed only the chart and the percentages, so the section itself, with its value cards, should still appear on the Overview tab. If you can see the cards without the chart, everything is working as intended. If the whole section has disappeared, contact Pluang Customer Service via live chat in the app so the team can check your account.
