FAQ article

What is Saldo USDT on Pluang and how is it shown in my portfolio?

Saldo USDT is the line in your Pluang portfolio that shows the USDT you hold, presented as cash rather than grouped with your other crypto assets. It covers USDT held in Crypto Spot and USDT held in Pockets, and it applies to every Pluang crypto user who holds USDT — you do not need to use leverage or Crypto Futures for it to appear. USDT is a stablecoin designed to hold a steady value rather than to rise and fall like a growth asset, so showing it under its own cash line makes it clear which part of your holdings is exposed to crypto price movement and which part is effectively sitting in reserve. Your USDT remains fully yours and works exactly as it always has.

  • What it is. A dedicated cash line for your USDT holdings, shown separately from crypto assets such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
  • Where it draws from. USDT held in Crypto Spot and USDT held in Pockets. For Crypto Futures users, the portion of the margin wallet not committed to open positions is also presented as cash under this line.
  • Who sees it. Any Pluang crypto user holding USDT. Holding USDT anywhere in Spot or Pockets is enough — leverage and Crypto Futures are not required.
  • Why it sits apart from crypto assets. USDT is a stablecoin. It is built to track a stable value, so grouping it with assets you hold for growth would blur the distinction between money at work in the market and money held in reserve.
  • What it does not change. Your USDT quantity, its value, and how you can use it are all unaffected by which category it appears under. Nothing is converted, sold, moved, or locked in order to display it this way.
  • As of 31 August 2026 USDT balances in Crypto Spot and Pockets are presented under Saldo USDT rather than counted among your crypto assets.

Related questions:

Q: Where does my Saldo USDT come from?
From any USDT you hold in Crypto Spot or in a Pocket. If you also trade Crypto Futures, the part of your margin wallet that is not committed to open positions is presented as cash under this line too. It is not a new wallet or a new product — it is a clearer presentation of USDT you already hold, gathered under a single cash heading in your portfolio.

Q: Does Saldo USDT apply to me if I only hold USDT in a Pocket?
Yes. Saldo USDT covers USDT held in Crypto Spot and USDT held in Pockets alike, so a Pocket containing USDT is included. It also applies regardless of whether you use leverage or Crypto Futures. Simply holding USDT anywhere in Spot or Pockets is enough for it to be presented under this line.

Q: Can I still use my USDT normally?
Yes. Saldo USDT is a presentation category, not a restriction. Your USDT remains entirely yours and continues to work exactly as it did before it was shown this way. Nothing about holding it has been limited or altered, and no new conditions apply to it as a result of appearing under a cash heading rather than among your crypto assets.

Q: Why is USDT treated as cash rather than as a crypto asset?
Because USDT is a stablecoin, designed to hold a steady value rather than to rise and fall the way Bitcoin, Ethereum or other growth assets do. Grouping it alongside those assets made it harder to see how much of your portfolio is genuinely exposed to crypto price movement. Presenting it as cash separates money at work in the market from money held in reserve.
