What is Broker Flow and how do I read it on Pluang?
Broker Flow on Pluang is a chart on the Broker Activity tab of each Indonesian stock page that plots the net buying or selling of up to seven brokers against the stock's price. The left axis shows each broker's net flow and the right axis shows the price. Positive values mean a broker bought more than it sold; negative values mean it sold more than it bought. When you open the chart, Pluang selects the brokers with the largest net volume over the period you chose. You can remove brokers and add others, up to seven at a time, and switch the left axis between Value in rupiah and Volume. You can also look at a point on the chart to see the price and each broker's flow at that time.
Reading the time axis
- The one-day view plots the latest trading day.
- Longer periods plot by date, across trading days.
- A broker that did not trade in the period stays on the chart as a flat line at zero.
Choosing brokers
- Remove a broker from the chart to make room for another.
- Add a broker by searching for its code or name.
- The chart shows at most seven brokers, so if it is full, remove one before you add another.
- Your selection may not be saved, so the chart can return to its default brokers later.
The market board and period you set on the Broker Activity tab apply to Broker Flow too.

Related questions
Q: What do positive and negative values mean in Broker Flow?
A positive value means the broker bought more of the stock than it sold at that point, so it was a net buyer. A negative value means it sold more than it bought, so it was a net seller. A value at zero means its buying and selling balanced out, or it didn't trade. Read the values together with the price line to see which brokers were buying or selling as the price moved.
Q: Why did my broker selection reset?
Broker Flow may not keep the brokers you pick after you leave the Broker Activity tab or close the app. When that happens, the chart returns to its default: the brokers with the largest net volume over the selected period. Your changes apply while you stay on the tab, so add the brokers you follow again if they are no longer on the chart when you return.
Q: Can I chart more than seven brokers?
No. Broker Flow shows at most seven brokers at once, so the lines stay readable, and the chart may open with seven already selected. If the chart is full, the app won't let you add another. Remove one broker first, then add the one you want. Seven is a fixed limit with no setting to raise it, so to compare a different group of brokers, swap them in one at a time.
Q: What is the difference between Value and Volume?
Value shows each broker's net flow in rupiah, and Volume shows it as the quantity traded. The two can tell different stories for a low-priced stock, where a broker can trade a large quantity for a small rupiah amount. The toggle changes only the left axis: the price line, the time axis and your broker selection stay the same. Switch between the two to see both views of the same brokers.
