What is Broker Distribution for Indonesian stocks on Pluang?
Broker Distribution on Pluang shows the 10 brokers that bought the most and the 10 that sold the most of an Indonesian stock over the period you choose, drawn as one flow chart that links the buyers to the sellers. It is one of the modules on the Broker Activity tab of Indonesian stock pages in the Pluang app. Buying brokers sit on one side and selling brokers on the other, each ranked by value and shown with its share of the total buy or sell value. The bands between them are sized by the value traded between each buying broker and each selling broker. Every broker is coloured by type, Local, Foreign or BUMN, with a legend. Trades with brokers outside the top 10 are grouped together, so each broker's bar still shows its full total.
What you see on the chart
| Element | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bars on the buy side | The top 10 buying brokers, largest first, with each one's share of the total buy value |
| Bars on the sell side | The top 10 selling brokers, largest first, with each one's share of the total sell value |
| Bands between the bars | The value traded between a buying broker and a selling broker; a wider band means more value |
| Grouped band | Trades with brokers outside the top 10 on the other side |
| Colours and legend | The broker type: Local, Foreign or BUMN |

Related questions
Q: Why don't the percentages add up to 100%?
Each percentage is a broker's share of the total buy value or total sell value for the stock, but Broker Distribution shows only the top 10 brokers on each side. Brokers outside the top 10 also traded, so the 10 visible shares usually add up to less than 100%. The rest belongs to smaller brokers, which you can find in the full list in Broker Summary on the same tab.
Q: Can I filter Broker Distribution by broker type?
Yes. You can narrow Broker Distribution to one type of broker: Local, Foreign or BUMN. The chart then ranks the top 10 buyers and sellers using only that type's trades, for the market board and period you chose, or you can show every broker. As elsewhere in Broker Activity, Foreign describes the broker firm, not the nationality of the investor trading through it.
Q: How is Broker Distribution different from Broker Summary and Broker Flow?
Broker Summary lists every broker that traded the stock, so it is the most complete view. Broker Flow follows up to seven brokers over time against the price. Broker Distribution answers a narrower question at a glance: who the biggest buyers and sellers were in the period, and which buyers traded with which sellers. Using the three together gives a fuller picture than any one of them.
Q: Can I show 5 or 20 brokers instead of 10?
No. Broker Distribution always shows up to 10 brokers on each side, and there is no setting to change that number. If fewer than 10 brokers bought or sold the stock in the period, the chart shows only the ones that did, without empty slots. To see every broker that traded the stock, open Broker Summary on the same Broker Activity tab.
