Is There an Inactivity Fee for a Stock Account on Pluang?

No, Pluang does not charge an inactivity fee for stock accounts that go without a trade for any length of time. There is no dormancy policy on Indonesian Stocks accounts — you can open a position and simply hold it for months or years without placing another order, and Pluang will never deduct a maintenance charge, a dormancy penalty, or any other fee tied to inactivity from your RDN balance or your shares. This is different from how some banks handle dormant savings accounts, where a period of no activity can trigger a monthly fee that erodes the balance over time; Pluang's Indonesian Stocks product has no equivalent mechanism. Your shares stay recorded at KSEI in your name and your RDN cash stays exactly as you left it, regardless of how long the account goes untouched, and the account itself never gets closed or suspended purely for lack of trading activity.

Pluang's policy on inactive accounts:

  • No monthly or annual inactivity fees, and no minimum trading frequency required to keep the account open
  • Shares remain safely recorded at KSEI even with zero trading activity for extended periods
  • RDN cash balance is not subject to any inactivity-based deduction — the balance you left is the balance that's still there
  • There is no dormancy classification for Indonesian Stocks accounts on Pluang; the account status stays "active" indefinitely regardless of trading frequency

Related questions:

Q: Will my Pluang account be deactivated if I don't log in for a long time?
No, Pluang does not have a dormancy or automatic deactivation policy for Indonesian Stocks accounts. Your account remains fully active and accessible regardless of how long you go without logging in or trading, and your shares and RDN balance stay exactly as you left them. The only way an account gets closed is if you actively request closure through Pluang's support team.

Q: Is my RDN balance safe if I don't trade for several months?
Yes, your RDN balance is held securely in a segregated client fund account at your RDN host bank (BCA or Bank Jago) and is not subject to any inactivity deduction, regardless of how long the balance sits untouched. It also remains covered by LPS deposit insurance up to Rp2,000,000,000 per customer per bank the entire time, the same protection that applies to an actively traded account.

Q: What should I do if I want to close my Pluang stock account?
Contact the Pluang support team via in-app live chat or email tanya@pluang.com to request account closure assistance, since there is no self-serve closure button for Indonesian Stocks. Before requesting closure, make sure all your shares are sold and your RDN balance is fully withdrawn, since an account with open positions or remaining funds generally cannot be closed yet — support will confirm both are cleared before processing.

Q: Will I still receive dividends if my account is inactive?
Yes, cash dividends from stocks you hold will still be credited to your RDN according to the issuer's payment schedule, regardless of whether your account has any trading activity. Dividends flow through KSEI to PT Pluang Maju Sekuritas and into your RDN automatically — no login, trade, or manual claim is required on your part to receive them, even across a long stretch of inactivity.
