Is There a Fee to Withdraw RDN Funds to a Different Bank Than My RDN Bank on Pluang?

Yes, if the bank account you cash out to is at a different bank from your RDN host bank, Pluang charges a flat Rp2,900 per transaction as an interbank transfer fee. Cashing out to an account at your RDN's own host bank — either BCA or Bank Jago, whichever one your RDN was opened at — is free of charge, with no admin fee at all. The distinction comes down entirely to whether the destination account sits inside the same banking network as your RDN: a same-bank transfer settles internally with no interbank routing involved, while a different-bank transfer has to move through the wider interbank clearing system, which is what the Rp2,900 charge covers. This fee applies per withdrawal transaction, not per day or per month, so every single cashout to an outside bank is charged separately, regardless of the amount being withdrawn or how many cashouts you make.

RDN cashout fee, by destination bank vs RDN host bank:

Destination Bank vs Your RDN Host BankFee per Cashout
Same bank as your RDN (e.g. RDN at Bank Jago → cashout to a Jago account)Free (no admin fee)
Different bank from your RDN (e.g. RDN at Bank Jago → cashout to BCA, BNI, Mandiri, etc.)Rp2,900 per transaction

Why the fee applies:

  • Your RDN sits at one of Pluang's two RDN partner banks: BCA or Bank Jago (assigned when your RDN is opened, not chosen freely by you afterward)
  • Cashing out to an account at the same bank stays within that bank's own network, so no external transfer fee applies
  • Cashing out to any other bank is processed as an interbank transfer, and Rp2,900 is the flat fee that covers that interbank routing cost

How to avoid the fee:

  • Register a bank account in your own name at the same bank as your RDN host bank (BCA or Bank Jago) as your withdrawal destination
  • The registered bank account name must exactly match your Pluang account name — a mismatch will cause the withdrawal to be rejected regardless of which bank it's at

Other RDN cashout facts:

  • Minimum withdrawal: Rp10,000
  • Minimum remaining RDN balance after any withdrawal: Rp1 (the app blocks any withdrawal that would bring the balance to exactly Rp0)
  • Funds typically arrive at the destination bank within 1–2 business days of the withdrawal request

Related questions:

Q: Which banks can host my RDN on Pluang?
Only two banks currently host RDN accounts on Pluang: BCA and Bank Jago. Each user's RDN is assigned to one of these two banks automatically when the RDN is first opened during Indonesian Asset Verification, and you can't freely switch your RDN's host bank afterward — it stays fixed at whichever bank it was created with.

Q: How do I check which bank hosts my RDN?
Open the Pluang app and go to Wallet → RDN Account, where your RDN host bank (either BCA or Bank Jago) is shown directly on the account details screen. This is the fastest way to confirm which bank you need to match with your withdrawal destination account in order to avoid the Rp2,900 interbank fee.

Q: Is the Rp2,900 fee charged per withdrawal or per day?
It's charged per individual withdrawal transaction, not per day or per calendar month. That means if you make three separate cashouts to a different bank on the same day, you'll be charged Rp2,900 three times — once for each transaction — regardless of how small or large each individual withdrawal amount is.

Q: Can I avoid the fee by changing my withdrawal destination account?
Yes, register a bank account at the same bank as your RDN host bank, in your own name, and future cashouts to that account will be completely free going forward. This is the only reliable way to avoid the Rp2,900 charge, since the fee is determined entirely by the destination bank, not by the withdrawal amount or frequency.

Q: Does the same fee apply to RDN top-ups?
No, the Rp2,900 fee only applies to outgoing RDN cashouts, never to top-ups. RDN top-ups go directly into your RDN host bank through a direct bank transfer process and are not routed through any VA or interbank mechanism, so they're not subject to this fee — or to the Pluang IDR Cash Wallet's separate VA top-up fees, either.
