How Do I Read the Order Book in Pluang Pro Mode?

The order book in Pluang PRO Mode is a live, real-time display of every active buy and sell order for a crypto asset, shown 10 price levels deep on each side. The bid side (buyers, usually green) lists the prices people are willing to pay; the ask side (sellers, usually red) lists the prices people are willing to sell at. The highest bid and lowest ask sit at the top — the best bid and best ask — and the gap between them is the spread, the cost of trading right now. A deep book with lots of volume signals a liquid market; a thin book signals the opposite. Pluang's PRO Mode order book covers 100+ crypto coins and refreshes continuously.

Key terms:

  • Bid — the highest price a buyer is currently willing to pay.
  • Ask — the lowest price a seller is currently willing to accept.
  • Spread — the gap between best bid and best ask; the cost of immediate execution.
  • Market depth — volume resting at each price level; a thick book = liquid market.
  • Walls — large orders at one level; a signal of support/resistance, not a guarantee, since they can be cancelled.
  • Specs — 10 levels on each side, 100+ crypto coins, in PRO Mode (no subscription fee).

Related questions:

Q: What is the spread in the order book?
The gap between the highest bid and the lowest ask. It represents the cost of trading immediately — a narrow spread means a liquid market, a wide spread means thinner liquidity and a higher cost to trade right away.

Q: What does a large order "wall" mean?
A large cluster of orders at one price can suggest support (bid wall) or resistance (ask wall). Because orders can be cancelled before they fill, treat walls as signals rather than certainties.

Q: How deep is Pluang's PRO Mode order book?
It displays 10 price levels on each side (10 bid, 10 ask) for each supported asset, across 100+ crypto coins.

Q: Where do I see my own pending orders?
The order book shows aggregate market depth. To review, modify, or cancel your own orders, use your open orders list in the app.

Q: Does the order book guarantee the price I will get?
No — it is a live picture that changes continuously. For Advanced Orders, execution is based on the underlying exchange price, and Pluang protects Limit and Stop orders against significant slippage.
