How to Receive Crypto Using a Tag on Pluang

You can get your Pluang receive address and Tag in under 2 minutes via the asset's page in the app. Coins like XRP require both the wallet address and the Tag to be shared with the sender — without the right Tag, the deposit can't be credited to your account automatically, and recovering it isn't guaranteed.

Before you start, make sure:

  • You know which crypto asset you're about to receive, since the receive address and network are asset-specific.
  • You've confirmed with the sender which network they'll be sending through.
  1. Open
the page for the crypto asset you'll receive.
  2. Tap
the receive icon on the asset page.
  3. Select
"Accept," then select the matching network for the transfer.
  4. Review
the wallet address and Tag shown on the page. Copy both, or save the QR code image to send to the sender. If the coin requires a Tag (e.g. XRP), make sure the sender includes it exactly — with a missing or incorrect Tag, the deposit can't be credited automatically, and recovery isn't guaranteed.
  5. Confirm
the sender has the correct wallet address, network, and Tag before they submit the transfer.
  6. Check
the transaction information once it arrives — this confirms your deposit was received.

You'll know it worked when: the transaction appears in your transaction history for that asset, reflecting the deposited amount.

Important notes:

  • Not every coin requires a Tag — check the receive page for the specific asset to see if one applies.
  • If the sender omits a required Tag or enters the wrong one, the deposit isn't credited automatically. Contact Pluang Care with the transaction hash; the team can look into it manually, but recovery isn't guaranteed.
