Zefiro wins $11.5M contract to plug oil and gas wells in Great Lakes region through 2029

Zefiro Methane Corp. secured an $11.5 million contract to plug orphaned and end-of-life oil and gas wells for a state environmental department in the Great Lakes region. The work will be carried out from November 2026 to June 2029, with $3 million to be spent by mid-2027 and the remainder by 2029. This contract expands Zefiro's presence in key U.S. markets and follows a previous $19.6 million remediation contract awarded in Ohio. The company aims to leverage these multi-year contracts to optimize operations and drive long-term shareholder value amid strong federal and private sector demand.
