CHMP recommends approval of Johnson & Johnson's TALVEY plus daratumumab for earlier treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma.

The CHMP of the European Medicines Agency has recommended approval for Johnson & Johnson's TALVEY (talquetamab) combined with daratumumab, with or without pomalidomide, for treating adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have had at least one prior therapy. This combination showed significant improvements in progression-free survival (up to 81%) and overall survival (up to 89%) after 24 months in a Phase III study. If approved, it would be the only bispecific antibody therapy targeting GPRC5D available from the second line of treatment, offering a novel targeted approach that spares healthy immune cells. This recommendation marks a step forward in earlier use of TALVEY in treatment, potentially improving patient outcomes in this complex blood cancer.

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) shares trade at USD 262.85 on Pluang as of Oct 24, 2026 01:11 WIB, down 1.78% for the day. The stock's market cap stands at $644.22 billion with a dividend yield of 2%. Despite recent news on TALVEY's potential approval, Pluang order activity shows 78% selling and 22% buying interest.
