Major firms like Apple and Tesla block tokenized trading of their shares on a new blockchain stock venue.

Apple, Amazon, Tesla, and about 62 other companies have formally objected to having their shares tokenized and traded on a new blockchain stock venue co-owned by the NYSE's parent company. Under SEC rules, companies can block third-party tokenized versions of their shares by submitting a written objection within 30 days of notice, preventing those tokens from trading on this platform. This limits the appeal of tokenized stocks, which offer 24/7 trading, as many popular stocks are excluded. The venue is still in development, and while tokenized stocks trade offshore, the U.S. market remains cautious due to issuer concerns about shareholder records and stock price impacts.

As companies like Apple, Amazon, and Tesla push back against tokenizing their shares, these stocks continue to show varied investor sentiment on Pluang. Apple trades at USD 343.63 with a 1-day decline of 1.68%, Amazon is down 2.89% at USD 258.35, and Tesla experiences a sharper drop of 10.18% to USD 345.99. This data is current as of Nov 06, 2026 07:51 WIB, reflecting ongoing market dynamics separate from tokenization debates.
