HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division held its annual Signing Day to honor 49 high school seniors who completed the Ingalls Shipbuilder Academy and accepted contingent job offers. The program trains students in shipbuilding crafts like welding and electrical work, preparing them for skilled careers. Since 2016, over 500 students have graduated from the academy, supporting Ingalls’ workforce development and regional economic growth. This event highlights HII’s commitment to building both ships and careers in the Gulf Coast area.
