HII expands ROMULUS USV production by adding Halimar Shipyard to boost capacity and meet Navy demand.

HII has partnered with Halimar Shipyard in Louisiana to enhance production of its ROMULUS unmanned surface vessels (USVs). Halimar will build complete ROMULUS 151 vessels, working alongside Breaux Brothers Enterprises to accelerate manufacturing and meet growing U.S. Navy and allied demand for autonomous maritime systems. This partnership expands HII's Gulf Coast manufacturing footprint, improves supply chain resilience, and supports scalable, repeatable production of advanced autonomous vessels designed for diverse naval missions.
