Frontier Power USA (FPUSA) has signed a deal to acquire a 480 MWh portfolio of battery energy storage projects from Bimergen Energy Corporation, marking the first transaction under FPUSA's 2 GWh capacity agreement with Eos Energy. The portfolio includes three projects in the ERCOT market, with construction expected to start mid-2026. This acquisition supports FPUSA's strategy to rapidly deploy long-duration energy storage using Eos' American-made batteries, enhancing grid stability amid growing demand. FPUSA will hold a 92.5% stake in the projects, while Bimergen retains a 7.5% economic interest, and both companies will collaborate on project completion and operation.
