How are USDT Earn rewards calculated?
USDT Earn works out one reward for you every day at 08:00 WIB: the USDT that is earning at that moment × your APR ÷ 365, rounded down to 6 decimals. Regular users earn 1.08% per year (APR) and Pluang Plus members earn 2.18% per year (APR); rates can change, and the app always shows your current Est. APR. The USDT that earns is your Earn Balance plus any USDT you have asked to redeem that has not yet been picked up by the next 09:00 WIB batch. USDT in its 13-day deposit period does not earn, and neither does USDT in its 13-day withdrawal period. For example, 1,000 USDT earns 0.029589 USDT a day at 1.08%, or 0.059726 USDT a day at 2.18%. You can follow the total building up as Rewards Accrued This Month on the USDT Earn page, opened from Wallet → Crypto → USDT card → Earn.
Which USDT earns
| Where your USDT is | Earning? |
|---|---|
| Deposit requested, before the 09:00 WIB batch | No |
| Deposit in its 13-day deposit period | No |
| Earn Balance | Yes |
| Redeem requested, before the 09:00 WIB batch | Yes |
| Redeem in its 13-day withdrawal period | No |
Example: 1,000 USDT in your Earn Balance
| Membership | Daily reward | Over 30 days |
|---|---|---|
| Regular, 1.08% per year (APR) | 0.029589 USDT | 0.887670 USDT |
| Pluang Plus, 2.18% per year (APR) | 0.059726 USDT | 1.791780 USDT |
Formula: daily reward = earning USDT × APR ÷ 365, rounded down at 6 decimals. Pluang uses 365 days in leap years too, and each day's reward is rounded once; the monthly total is not rounded again.
Related questions
Q: Why doesn't my deposit earn during the deposit period?
A new deposit first waits for the next 09:00 WIB batch, then goes through a 13-day deposit period before it joins your Earn Balance. During both stages it is shown as Deposit in Progress and does not earn. It starts earning once it reaches your Earn Balance, and its first reward is recorded the following morning at 08:00 WIB. This applies to every deposit separately, each on its own timeline.
Q: Do I still earn after I tap Redeem?
Yes, for a short time. A redeem request keeps earning until the next 09:00 WIB batch picks it up, so it is still included in that morning's 08:00 WIB reward. After the batch, it enters its 13-day withdrawal period and stops earning. For example, if you redeem 400 of 1,000 USDT at 1.08%, the remaining 600 USDT then earns 0.017753 USDT a day. Rewards already earned are still paid on the 5th.
Q: What happens to my rate if I join Pluang Plus mid-month?
Your rate is checked every day for the tier you are in that day. From the first daily reward after your account becomes a Pluang Plus member, you earn 2.18% per year (APR) instead of 1.08%. Rewards already recorded for earlier days keep the regular rate and are not recalculated. The same applies the other way if your account stops being a Pluang Plus member, or if Pluang changes the rates.
Q: Why are rewards rounded down to 6 decimals?
USDT amounts on Pluang use 6 decimal places, so each daily reward is cut off at 6 decimals rather than rounded up. This happens once per day. When the rewards are paid on the 5th, Pluang adds up the daily amounts exactly as recorded without rounding the total again. On small balances, this can make your monthly reward slightly lower than a calculation done without rounding.
