Why Is the e-IPO Page Sometimes Empty, and How Does Remind Me Work for Upcoming IPOs?
The e-IPO page is empty whenever there are no IPOs currently open for orders or scheduled to open soon — Pluang's broker partner confirms new offerings as they become available, so they don't appear every day. Remind Me lets you register interest in an upcoming IPO so you get a push notification the moment its order window opens.
- Why the page can look empty: New IPOs only appear once Pluang's broker partner has confirmed an upcoming offering. There's no fixed schedule, so it's normal for the page to have nothing listed for a stretch of time.
- How to know an IPO is coming: A new IPO will show up on the e-IPO page under "Upcoming" once it's confirmed.
- What Remind Me does: Tapping "Remind Me" — available on both the Upcoming IPO card in the list and on the individual IPO detail page — registers your interest and triggers a push notification as soon as that IPO's order window opens. The button then disappears after a confirmation prompt, since your interest has been registered.
- What Remind Me does NOT do: It does not reserve shares or guarantee you an allocation. You still need to place an actual order (a Conditional Offer to Buy) during the order window to be considered for allocation.
- Multiple IPOs: You can use Remind Me on as many upcoming IPOs as you like.
- In the meantime: You can check the "Past" section to see IPOs that have already happened on Pluang, or tap Remind Me on a past IPO's listing to be alerted if a similar opportunity comes up.
